I don't want any biased answers like, "PC GAMING MASTERRACE 1337 MLG PR0!>!>?" I am asking first of all, what will be so bad about the xbox one? I know reddit hates it but I don't know why so I am asking you guys. Also, should I switch? This is just a question for now, as I am going to watch it at e3 to see if it is worth it. I am buying an alienware pc, so I wont have to worry anymore about system requirements that my computer now cant handle. Thanks for the help guys! |

Dont buy an alienware. They are overpriced for what they are, and apparently they tend to .... melt. |

I'm a proud player of both Xbox and PC. They both have their special traits.
Personally, I would stick with PC, just because Xbox One isn't even worth buying. It's just gonna be a cable box, and everyone agrees. |

@zoozooba Yep. I don't buy "Gaming computers", I just took my normal computer and bought a better graphics card for it. |

| PS4 + PC (+Wii U?) will probably be the best choice going into next-gen |

Good choice.
Also, don't buy a gaming computer. Just go to the nearest microcenter, buy a nice graphics card, and put it in your current one. |

| My computer is an HP Pavillion p7-1234, and it's really good for only about 500 dollars at the nearest Best Buy. You might need to buy a better graphics card for it, though. |

Hey, hey, buddy, build your own pc.
Here's a couple of Tek Syndicate videos to get you started on the search for your best companion.

To be serious, there will probably be more big-budget PC games this generation, because PC and console will have same architecture.
I'd suggest going for it if you have the money. Multiple controllers, more game, etc.
Just try to hold yourself down for Steam Sales. |

On a serious note, you probably won't be able to run those "high demand" games on the Steambox.
Plus, there is that unfortunate chance that all the controls and games will be dumbed-down, like the current generation of consoles. |

| On the next generation of consoles, I would personally wait until the price goes down, a sale, and overall, wait until we have more information on the games and features. |

You do know they're making the steambox upgradable, right? As in, you can get better video cards if it gets outdated. |

| Why? They're designing it to be real easy, you know. Like probably a more hidden version of the ram extension for the n64. |
