Typically, I tone down all settings of Roblox so I can get a high framerate. However, I noted that whenever I open Roblox Studio, all high settings are applied instead of the low settings, which causes me to lag quite a bit when I have a massive build. When I play in solo or in a server game, the low settings are applied, unlike Studio.
All textures, specular lighting, normal mapping, and highpoly special meshes are enabled in Studio, and thus hurting the framerate on my computer, even when toning all settings down to 1.
I would like to have this issue fixed, so that people who probably are going to encounter the same problem can build bigger maps and buildings without getting below 1 frame per second. |

I posted this on the Issues forum, and they told me to post it here. They said this issue deserves to be seen by the developers in order to be fixed. I agree.
I'm pretty sure the screams of "Lag!" in the Roblox development team's ears, would be reduced if this issue is fixed. |

I'll post. >.> Support, I also have a similar issue. I would also enjoy if all settings applied to online play (Including the lower line of sight with lower graphics) was applied to Studio mode.

Under tools, go on Settings. In settings, under rendering, configure the quality of every material. If it just resets, contact info@roblox.com |

| I did configure all the material settings to low in Tools>Settings>Rendering. All high settings are applied in Studio instead of the low settings that I demanded. In solo or in a server game, the low settings are applied like I asked; Studio is the only thing that is applying the high settings instead. |
