I heard it was what great builders used to build. I wanted to see if I could get a handle on it.
How do I use it? |

The latest version is on a website made by Anaminus, the creator. You can get the older versions out of his models.
Anything up to version 3 has to be executed as a lua script from somewhere on your computer, don't worry there are instructions.
The newer versions (I believe it's at 5 right now) are plugins and are placed into the plugins folder. |

| Could you provide me the link to this setup (assuming there are instructions from that point on)? |

Not to the plugin website. I'm not supposed to put offsite links, I think...
Version 3 is here: http://www.roblox.com/CmdUtl-Command-Utility-v3-0-0-item?id=56988233 |

I never got cmdutl5 to work for me. Possibly because I was trying to execute.
I have used cmdutl3 from freemodels and it still works awesome. It comes with two scripts, one you copy and save onto notepad. The other script has the instructions. Double click a script to read.
Command bar is still the best way to CFrame. Knowing how to do this helps in scripting as well as building.
With the introduction of Collision check button , I haven't used any of these methods except when precision is an issue. Turn collision check off and you can set parts inside other parts. Use properties window while moving to see the increments. |
