The kid that sits next to me in my last block at school has a flying spaghetti monster bookbag and he set his desktop background to the flying spaghetti monster on his computer. He also made an entire religious song about it. |

probably, that must explain people posting threads on how the universe was made and religious conflicts has been added onto them as well |

| @chicka123 Politics are always involved in these religion flamewars because we got atheists complaining about laws and us shoving it in everyone's faces by making laws. |

"I can't tell if politics are worse or not..."
Religion =/= Politics
"we got atheists complaining about laws and us shoving it in everyone's faces by making laws."
Oh, yes. No reason to complain about the separation of church and state being destroyed. |

| @xc6Alt21 Well the whole idea. Anyways, I am just as tired about my religion making laws as you are, but making something like is just as worse as us making a law suppressing atheism. |

How so? The law doesn't suppress any religion. I realize it is impossible to enforce. |

@Shadow Technically you got a point. Why a problem? No one's brainwashed by those words. Then again, its the feeling and the thought that can change everything. |

| It's a problem when parents tell their child that their one religion is the correct one. |

"It' a problem when parents tell their child that their religion is the correct one" And soon the child realizes, and... its the beginning of atheist thinking |

| @Xc I know it doesn't. And Christianity is still as large as it is. |

| @xc6Alt21 Oh ok. I agree that's the problem, but religion itself would even make it seem that being a part of that religion would make it seem right. |

I'm not sure what you said
"@Xc I know it doesn't. And Christianity is still as large as it is."
And why is it large, you ask?
Because it's taught to children.
And passed down.
etc
...which is why instead of Christianity being spread out in the world, it's concentrated, in the USA and some parts of Europe (Italy).
Same as Islam. It's why you see Muslims in the Middle-East and not many elsewhere. |
