Because Test Server - according to the in-game output (someone connection to localhost, which all of you know is 127.0.0.1) I think it should (in theory) be possible to launch a LAN server.
That's quite interesting, becuase if that's possible you could use networking programs - such as Hamachi - to create a private server which would not be visible online on the roblox games page.
Not to mention that this would be a grand solution on building games with development teams. Think of the possibilities!
Anyone cares to research this? |

Oh yes, hamachi allows this. Me and digpoe connect to eachother. It is actually quite buggy, so me and digpoe went 'fixing' it. :)

ROBLOX Studio can host servers and can also connect to servers.
It's pretty simple once you find the methods for it. Which I did and tested with Looah :) |

In that case, explain the question better. 'Roblox Studio can be accessed by private servers?' lets me think that private servers can start Roblox Studio. :|

| I remember when some guys worked on RbxPri. It was external software, which probably used old roblox version, and it could host and join servers. It was quite stable, back when I was testing it. |

When you join the servers that pRiblox hosts, yes the Studio is there.
But I'm working on a way to fix it.
It's a pity they made it so Instance.new() can't instance NetworkClient - it destroys references to the IDE which is basically what happens when you join a game. |

Do what?
Host a server?
Tools->Test->Start Server
Then connect with one of the methods in the NetworkClient page.
hint: The first 'word' in it is where the option to set First Person mode is. |
