I don't fully base a pitcher by wins and even ERA.
I base a pitcher generally on. WHIP + ERA + BAA with Runners in Scoring Position
Lower the better.
Matt Harvey 0.82 WHIP + 1.85 ERA + 0.194 = 2.864
Clayton Kershaw 0.87 WHIP + 1.68 ERA + 0.167= 2.717
Try it with any other pitcher. |
