Join The Danish Kingdom today!
http://www.roblox.com/My/Groups.aspx?gid=847091
The Danish Kingdom is based off of the vikings who travelled from Denmark to England in the late 9th century. The current year in the group is 880 A.D.when the Danes were still at war with the four different Saxon countries but had also begun settling in the three northern most countries of Northumbria, Mercia, and East Anglia.
The Danes were renown warriors (and drunks, cannot forget that), they knew how to use any weapon to their advantage. One cannot claim legitimacy to being a warrior until he has defeated a Dane.
Our Group has a total of 9 ranks, the amount of brackets around the rank (brackets are {, and }) show what that ranks commanding powers are or their status as a fighter.
{} - First ranks, lesser trained, and unexperienced . {{}} - Warrior ranks, trained fighters, and well experienced. {{{}}} - Lesser commander ranks, well trained fighters, well experienced, is trusted and has leadership qualities. {{{{}}}} - High command ranks, well trusted and personally known well, well trained fighters, well experienced, and has good leadership qualities.
If you join The Danish Kingdom now while it is still young you will be rewarded in the future.
Fort - http://www.roblox.com/The-Danish-Kingdom-Coastal-Encampment-place?id=114982295
Our fort is based off a small palisade fort built on the shore of East Anglia. Raiders must win by saving up Coins (data persistance leaderstats, you earn Coins over time with an automatic script, or people can pay you in Coins for services.) and buying a Siege Tower (150 Coins) that you drive up to the fort and use to get over the walls. Then they must capture the flag and hold it for 5 minutes.
You can buy weapons with the GUI open/close shop, there is over 15 weapons that you can use.
That is pretty much it, if you would like to join, it is my primary group, feel free, you will be welcomed. If you have any questions please message them too me, I may not check this forum post often. |

Thank you, it means alot, I just find this section of history more interesting than the more mainstream colonial or roman periods.

I didnt look much into the Jules, but the Angles occupied most of East Anglia (hence, Anglia) I'm pretty sure at the time (this is just a guess) that the Jutes were over in the even farther eastern of Mercia where the Britons were. I can't be sure, the Jutes were not a very dominate faction in this time period, they were much more abundant 300 years earlier.

If that is so, they were probably intertwined with the Saxons. Remember this is late dark ages, some of the Germanic tribes began to diffuse. And the Britons weren't far off either, they could just have easily been a Germanic tribe there as anywhere else.

Seany112, everyone has to start somewhere, I am starting where I see a good advantage. I figured some people might like to historical value in this, obviously you dont, so you do not need to comment if all your going to do is post a statement of what sounds like you talking to yourself. So how about keep that to yourself and let me do as I wish? I am looking for people who find an interest in what I am interested in, not people who just like to be rude.
