I think we should have stats for hats, but on places, there's an option where we can let stats act or not (meaing if they'll work or not).
Backfire: This can cause alot of lag, sadly.
Reason?
I have 2 reasons,
1.So we can encourage people to have hats that doesn't look good but is very useful.
2.So it can make the game basicly very interesting!
________________________________________________________________
Stats?What are they?
Okay,so here's the stats and what they do.
Strength-It basicly increased your damage for your gear/weapons in game.
Speed-This makes you run faster.
HP-This stat makes you have more health.
HP Increase-The rate of your health regeneration multiplied by 3. ________________________________________________________________
What type of hats?
If this suggestion is succesfull,
The new hats would have reasonable stats and the amount of the stat. ________________________________________________________________
Tl;dr (Too long;didn't read)?
Basicly, stats on hats that make you run faster, hit harder,or live longer,or even make you regen your health more easily!

| Why can't a person just script this into their game? Someone made a game called Hat Wars which actually gave you unique weapons and skills depending on what you wore, also this might not be wanted by some players in their games. |

| Yes,that would be a great idea with scripts, but it would be extremely difficult to make such a script. |

Er, no. This isn't Fire Emblem.
If one gets innate advantages, it won't be fair. Especially if they can't afford the same hat to challenge the other person's stats. Scripters can incorporate statistics on their own. Don't try to force this on every game archetype, some games aren't made for the stats. |

| Wow... I hate when people post without actually reading what they are posting on. To all the people that are saying it would make things effect roblox games in a negative way, He clearly said that it would be optional... |

No. That just gives richer people an advantage over poorer ones.

No. Those are limited to games with things that can be overpowered with skill.
This, is unfair.
On one hand, you can have a spoiled child with 10,000 HP and a unbelieveable jump height.
On the other, you can have a normal person who can't afford to keep up with the advent of stat boosting items.

| I find it a good idea but this is very bad advantage, why? Because what if this idea happens and people start raging about it what would happen? Lose more Veterans. |

| To be honest,I don't think many people read about the option to allow stats or not. |

Protossian.
Even if you did allow the option, you can't stop the wealthy from getting innate advantages. |

Then there will be some ugly hats only just to get higher stats on some of the games.
I don't feel like having stats in games that enable stats because of the fact that an OBC Rich Kid Noob could kill everyone which doesn't make it fair for everyone else unless their skill level is very high. But how likely is it that you will meet a poor robloxican with extremely high skills?
Sorry, I don't support. I like hats the cosmetic way as they are now.

Poke pretty much summed my point.
If ROBLOX did make a profit, then that would just go to show that they don't care about the more cheaper players, and the game will focus more on the rich people. We don't want that. That kind of greed drives games to eventually suck, just because sooner or later with this feature, everyone will be wearing the same hat because it has 'the best stats', leaving the cheaper players to rely on their skill to kill someone that should match them in stats.
I'm just saying, this isn't just for ROBLOX. We play this game because we can make our own. But if we can change our stats for other games, we gain an unfair advantage in game and also it promotes a hierarchy of hats. And for what? ROBLOX getting money. ROBLOX is getting money enough as it is, we don't need this to bolster the fact that ROBLOX doesn't care about the cheaper players. |
