ROBLOX's current system accepts images at any size, but will only display them in a 420x420 format. This would be fine if the format provided was HD, in matter of fact to cut don on space ROBLOX servers resize the image down, then blow it back up.
What does this mean?
This means that images lose any original HD factorisation in an original document. Things become blurred, and people have resulted into using imgur to upload their artwork (I personally do). The problem being, imgur links are a banable offence to ROBLOX rules
What I wish to be done?
I hope that ROBLOX can redesign their decal system.
1. HD decals need to be supported. ROBLOX has grown a lot since the beginning, and should now be able to accept the images. 2. Different sizes need to be added. I sometimes wish to show people an example of a thumbnail I've done for my place, and I wish for feedback. I cannot upload using the current system because it wold resize and distort it, ruining my image. Two othersuugestions would be to upload, but pay 20R$. Or I upload to such image hosting site as Imgur. In fairness, every time I will choose the latter no doubt.
HD Images need to be supported, In ALL sizes.

They've already addressed this, and have stated they will do at some point.
"NonstopEpicRBLX: Better uploading quality when it comes to decals."
"I chatted with this user a bit more over twitter – the basic idea is that he is retexturing hats and needs more resolution. He’s also using decals (presumably large ones) to texture blocks in-game. ROBLOX internally downsizes large images that users upload to 256 x 256 pixels. We do this now for two reasons: to conserve bandwidth (so assets load quickly) and also so that players on low-end graphics hardware don’t exhaust their texture memory. For some tasks, like creating custom skyboxes or GUI images, 256 x 256 is not enough resolution. At some point we will address this with the option to upload at custom resolution when necessary, but it’s not something that we are working on at the moment." http://blog.roblox.com/2012/08/responding-to-user-feedback-v7/ |

| Support. I hate it when decals I make get blurred. Same with uniforms as well. The quality of them on the website has decreased and is slightly better in game compared to the website picture. |

| Support, But there is a workaround for this, Make a 4 second youtube video with a link to your imgur photo in the desc or just put it in the video |
