| I always prefer wired mice and keyboards. Just one of those things. |

"better in both price and performance"
I tried this and after a few weeks I could't hear anything through them ended up buying a Turtle Beach x12 headset because I was tired of buying crappy 20 dollars ones that still break in 2-3 weeks

| I just use cheap earbuds. I don't have the money to buy big headphones. |

Truth: I use a Logitech working mouse, a 3 year old keyboard that works just fine, and a CRT monitor as my primary, which is plugged into a 2-generation-old gaming computer.
And it works just fine on these newfangled 5th generation or whatever games. Don't need any gaming mice, gaming keyboards, mousepads, gaming gloves, steering wheels, gamepads, LCD monitors, gaming chairs, or Alienware-esque computers. WAYYY too much money just to point and click at stuff. |

Oh, I do play competitively. Sometimes.
These work-keyboards, and work-mice work just fine for me. I tried a gaming mouse once, and it had no difference between the one I currently have. |

Well, I guess, people can have their comfortable mice.
And, to be honest, the gaming mouse WAS comfortable.
But, just saying, if you have a lot of money, go right on ahead and buy all the accessories you want. If you've got average or lower, stick with your work-esque mouse and keyboard. |
