Recently after looking back at all these games people really did lack a proper managed game with a UI (User Interface) and actual gameplay system, it was just run and gun all the time. All kinds of wasteland games lacked that encouragement to survive and the only post-apocalypse games doing things right is "Apocalypse Rising" and "Deadzone" which are based off pre-existing games and have very interesting features.
But what do you want in these Wasteland games and post-Apocalypse ones? I mean sometimes the guns are there at our spawn to buy like with Vinya's game and there's better ways to make these games. Plus do you feel like it's lacking in it's game genre? I do. Only Chad is the one I recently seen do a pretty alright Wasteland design and if there is someone else please post who they are.

What I find missing in most, if not, all of these post-apocalypse games, are other NPC suriviors, both friendly and hostile.
If someone would just come up with an NPC that can shoot projectiles effectively, that would add an entirely new tactic to these games. It has been done a few times, but never in an actual game. |
