Name: Daren Amadeous Rolando Kailen Recole ~~~~~Born: Rolando Dare Recole
Gender: Male
Age: Past 20-21 Pre Haze-War: 38-41 Post Haze-War: Deceased
Appearance: ~~~~~~~~~Past~~~~~~~~~ Before Bec was born, Daren had dark brown, spikey hair. Which hung over his face when he didn't comb it up. He had very dark skin, almost chocolate. Most of his skin, however, was scar tissue. Daren, like Alex and Bec, had a scar on the left side of his lips, but his was larger. It rand down his neck to his collar bone, and up to his left eye. His eyes were either pure black, when battling, or a shiney grey, when calm. He was a well build man, being a height of about 6'8" most of his life, later ascending to the tallest MODERN Olempire. He had a very low amount of body fat, but not as much muscle as Bec, either. On his left pectoral, there was a tattoo that was carved in to look like black scars saying "Suus 'omnibus venatus." on a scroll under it, which means "It's all a game", in English. He, also, has a white sliver of silver hair above his right ear. He usually wore all black, his most common outfit being his black leather jacket, with golden buttons. A white t-shirt under it, with black rims around the collar and sleeves. His torn black pants, and black converse shoes. He also wore a black bandana, dark green sunglasses, over his eyes, and a small crown in his hair from the "Spider Queen". His belt had a black shining skull on it, with two gems in the eyes. One green, and the other blue. These held a symbolic sort of foreshadowing for the future. ~~~~~~~~~Modern~~~~~~~~~ After losing his arm in the Gabriel battle, Daren wondered through the world of the dead. No, Gabriel didn't kill him, N'zoth did. Anyways, Daren had returned due to Haze's soul captor, Daren's own mother. Daren freaked out, and uses a double Solid Fear, which is odd, considering he had one arm. He fused with around 600 other souls, changing his body greatly. He also consumed a large amount of Old God energy. His skin became a bit more pail, from that. And his eyes turned even darker. His blood obtained a purple hue to it, with its normal black color. Haze rebuilt his right arm in a Wretched Energy form. The arm became a large metallic gauntlet, with a red shoulder blade, red elbow guard, and a large red glove. Yellow spikes sprouting from most of it, and black chainmail under all of it, covering the energy running through it. As such, Daren dawned a blood red trenchcoat. It had a black suit underneath it, which had white lines running along it. He used a long black cloth as a belt across the trenchcoat. Daren then wore a Tragedy mask over his scarred face (even though it hadn't changed much). He put a black scarf on under the mask, to cover his mouth, aswell. Not much of his body was changed in this period, he did ascend, making him around 7'4". He also became more muscular, but still not as large as Bec.
Personality: Through most of his life, so most of the story, Daren was very quiet. He did have his awesome quotes, and cheesy one liners every now and then, and he did talk when needed. But he just didn't talk as much as Alex, or Bec. He was very intelligent, far smarter than Bec, and before he became watcher, his Time-Cousin Jack. He was never a great fighter, but he still outweighed his allies Simon, Dan, Nick, and Chelsea in both the power aspect, and the fighting side of things. He only knew how to keep himself alive in events. He would watch the person he fought MORE than concentrate on what he had to do. This caused him to become very aware of what the person was doing, so Daren had an idea of what he had to do. He was only smart with his powers. If there would be a chance for him to discard his sword, and just use his energy, he would. But due to what it used to do to him in the past, he never did. This made him sort of a silent killer on the battlefield. He never worked well in large groups in a fight, but if it was just him, it was assumed he would be able to handle it. But when allies are thrown in, he has to deal with so many other variables...But since he's alive, we can assume he did account for the other variables...many times.
Bio: Many many years ago, an ancient demon was raised from the depths of the Earth by a necromancer named Mors. Mors had read stories of the demon, learning of its limitless power and knowledge. When the demon arose, he had asked to become infinitely powerful, like the demon. The demon considered this, then destroyed Mors, and absorbed him into his being. The demon expected to destroy all existence of the Necromancer by doing so, but was overcome by his hidden power. The demon slowly lost his mind to Mors, and fell under his control. Mors felt his new power, and decided to build an army and take over the world. He slaughtered several people, as specimens, and took their bodies to his new realm. He took energy, essence, and soul from them, to model his new army. He formed a body, impervious to pain, and more agile and powerful than a humans. A mind, strong enough to do anything they were driven to do. And finally, he put his own essence into them, in place of a soul. Giving them dark magic, which made them beyond the power any magical human could ever reach. As he did this, he became weak, and had to rest as the first 6 of his army formed. While he was resting, the beings had felt his horrid presence, and they escaped his realm, back to Earth. Mors tried his hardest to control them, but they had the free will of humans, and he was still to weak to return to Earth. Thus, the race was born. Long before they had created their own civilization, and only a few hundred years after their creation, they had lived in Greece and Rome, not knowing of the existence of others, just like them. They were more spread out than they ever would come to be again. Even then, however, they all understood their duty. They were to kill anything that threatened humanity. In that time, a group of people with exceptional control over magic rose up. They called themselves "The Twelve" while humanity saw them as Gods and praised them, the ancient race of defenders saw them as menaces. Humanity could not see it, but these twelve "Gods" were manipulating them to build their world in their image. This is when The First War began. The ancient race, now calling themselves the Forebearers, sought out others of their kind, putting together an army. They grew in numbers, an brought their most powerful forward, a man named Bec, of the Recole clan. They assaulted the city and palace of The Twelve. Not only that, but they killed everything in their path. They destroyed homes, and families. They tore apart the town in a vicious rampage, and didn't stop for anything. Bec led the assault to the palace, and viciously murdered all 12 of the "Olympians" with his own hands. The humans, however, saw these new, and powerful beings as a threat. With their demonic magic, and their control over the black arts that The Twelve had condemned. Judging them for calling the Olympians monsters, they named the Forebearers a spell which the Olympians specifically condoned. "Verum Timere." A spell, when spoken by any magical being, would kill a human within earshot of it. Though, the records went down as naming them Olempires, a dangerous spell that knocked humans out, which was turned into Vampires when Vampires first arose hundreds of years afterwards. The Romans and Greeks banished each person with the "Olempire" blood out of their land, and into the Sea, with little food to last them a month. But they lasted, and and wound up on the coast of Brazil in south America. Right on the edge of the Amazon. They found their way deep into the forest, and began a new civilization. But, though their lives seemed normal now, a forgotten force had awoken back in present day Europe; Mors. His power had grown, though, and he wanted revenge on the race that was meant to be his. He sought them out, and learned of their exile. He took a ship of his own undead slaves, the 12 bodies of the Olympians, and went to find them. On the ship, Mors manipulated the bodies of the Olympians, and made them new beings, under the control of him, and only him. He renamed himself Nocte, for night. They landed upon the coast of the Amazon, and searched for 5 years for the Olempires. Once they had discovered them...it was not long before the attack began. This, named the Hidden War, was a battle between a weakening Olempire race, and a massive, NIGHTMARISH, demon army. The demons, not losing a single soldier, destroyed everything in their path. While the war went on, Bec, still living, and his other generals, sought a spell that could save their two youngest. Two children named Dare, and Dela. They used their own black blood to create a pocket within the realm, that would be hidden from the view of Nocte until a time Dare and Dela could defend themselves. As the children were saved, the rest of their civilization was vanquished. By the very hand that created them.
Daren was the child, Delanie, his sister, was the other. He woke up in the year 1500, only about 400 years after the battle had taken place. Daren had no memory of his sister, who hadn't woken up, though. Daren went on, seeking shelter in his life. He soon found himself in Central America, and was dragged in to a few wars along the way. As he made it to the U.S.A., he quickly made himself a citizen. Once the Civil War rolled around, he chose his side with the Union. He helped in many battles, and, most likely, was the reason some of the battles turned to the Union's favor. As he grew, he began to realize that a dark energy was coming through him. Once he turned 18, after the Civil War, he seemed to stop growing. He wondered around the continent for many years, from then, but was dragged in to Asia before WWII began. He was gone for many years, the power slowly growing in him. When he finally returned, it was roughly 1983. He had missed the whole World War, and he didn't even know it had even happened. He had begun wearing dark sunglasses to cover the evil power coming from his eyes, which he could not control. He headed to Nebraska, finding a small town, he settled there, and tried to start a life.
Many years later, he met a young girl named Chelsea, who was roughly his "age". They began to talk, quickly growing close together. They went on with a small relationship, that blossomed over the years that they had together. One night, however, as they went on a date, they were stopped, and challenged, by Daren's shadow, Nerad. They learned that each Olempire had to face their shadow in their life, to obtain the dark power within them. Daren was easily bested by the creature, but he had weakened it. Chelsea jumped at the chance to destroy the monster, which she did. She took Daren to her cave, revealing that she was a child of Death, not the Reaper Death, the Horseman, who was hundreds of times stronger than any Reaper. Daren woke weeks later, he wasn't in a coma, it was just a later date. He learned that Nocte was slowly returning, and building up his force using 12 demonic beasts known as Demon-Lords. Daren and Chelsea sought out the first three, who seemed to build off of eachother's powers. They turned Chelsea in to a young girl, and removed Daren's sight with the power of one of the Female's, which constantly changed the form of objects he looked at. They tried to find their way back to Death, who had Chelsea's sycthe. After a long argument, he returned it to her. She returned herself, and aided Daren as the demon-lords attacked again. Chelsea quickly healed him, and Daren went on a rampage, destroying the cavern around them, and making short work of the Demon-Lords.
Daren learned of 6 more demon-lords that had taken hostages through the world through more dreaming. Chelsea woke him, telling that Death had been captured by the Demon-Master, who had used him to bring the dead back. It was not possible for Daren's Father to return, which Daren had begun hoping, seeing as his soul seemed to vanish from existence. Daren was forced to slay Nerad again, and left Chelsea to take 2 more demon lords on. He learned she easily overpowered them, still enraged by a conversation with his doppelganger. He entered the sanctum of 4 of the Demon lords. They expect an easy fight, seeing as they were some of the strongest, and they had captives. But Daren, blinded by an unknown rage, murdered every last captive and Demon in the lair, absorbing their life essence into him. Five of the people died out of their own free will, when they could've escaped, saying they knew it would come in handy in Daren's future. Daren did not absorb their souls, but they seemed to vanish into him, not giving him any power. Daren fell to the ground, ashamed of what he did just as Chelsea arrived. They began to speak, as the last of the Demon-Lords, in that area, arrived. He, his name was Demise, openly let himself die, knowing that he had something to do in the future, and what Daren will do to him, if not. Daren released a strange burst of energy, that he had no recollection of ever learning. It evaporated the Demon instantly. Shortly after, Daren destroyed his cave. He feared it was like a target on their heads. AS they ventured, Nocte returned, combining all 10 of the demons, excluding Demise, in to his form. Nocte transformed the world in to a nightmarish langscape, killing most of humanity. He quickly killed Chelsea, and almost destroyed Daren. Daren was saved by Death, who spoke to him much later. Death and Chelsea revealed to Daren that his eyes had a lighter side, a courageous side. Chelsea's soul granted Daren her scythe, and Death promised to revive her if Daren succeeded. Daren attacked Nocte once he found him, using the granted power. Daren defeated Nocte, and asked for Death's side of the deal, who just laughed. He denied ever making the deal, and faded away.
Daren was moved by the Archangel Micheal to a new home. Daren freaked out, wondering how the world returned to normal, due to Chelsea being alive again as well. Micheal revealed he needs Daren's help for the future events to come. Daren obliged, but he asked for Chelsea to be revived, since their souls had been bonded, so she still had a chance to live. Micheal tells it was possible to wake Daren up from the realm, all they had to do was kill Daren. Chelsea quickly did so, blind siding him with her scythe. As she does, Daren latched to her soul, pulling her back to the world of the living with him. (To this day it is unknown if they really died and their life played out like it would've in their respective paradises, or they truly returned to life.) Michael then asked for a mortal body, which Daren got for him, through strange events. Michael led them to a young boy named Nick who turned out to be a very strong being. They soon learn of what is happening, that Michael woke them for. Clockwork, a Time-Watcher, who would later be revealed to be the Reality Ring watcher, was planning on Re-organizing Earth, due to the corruption left from Nocte. After many events, he arrived on Earth, revealing Nick was just a pawn of his plan. Through a large fight, they destroy Clockwork. Once they return all of the timestream to normal, the machine Clockwork came on began to blare "Fail Safe Initiated, Abort is not viable now." They took no note of it as they destroyed the machine. The explosion did not help the harmed Daren, who slowly began to fade out of life. Chelsea tried to help, but learned of a deal Daren made with Death, who took him away quickly, Daren dying on the spot. Chelsea and Nick, reluctantly, returned home.
Chelsea had grown tired, constantly searching through her father's notes, finding a way if it is at all possible to revive Daren. She only found one way, and that is to open Pandora's Box. Sadly though, that would've wiped out all life on the planet. She began to leave, as Nick told her he is going to go around the planet, trying to return Balance, like what Clockwork wanted, but in a more peaceful way. Chelsea didn't argue, and let him go. As she searched the world she find nothing of use to her. She finally found Delora, Daren's mother. Deloratold her that she has found the Box, but explains to Chelsea that she has no intention of letting anyone survive when it is opened. Chelsea protested, and begins to battle, but Delora quickly defeated her with The Eye of The Blind. Nearly killing her, but Delanie, Daren's sister who had awoken months ago, came in to help. Delanie intervened before Chelsea died, and protected her. Delora destroyed the box, releasing Hope, and obliterating the world...Sorta.
Daren was awakened by a strange force. Death told him that what he had just seen was what would be if Daren did not resort to killing his whole family. Daren reluctantly agreed, but asked how it is possible if he cannot live anymore, because he was dead. Death told him he would bend the rules, but when Daren was returned to life, he had to find his Palace in the mountains of Asia, to give him some more time to do what must be done to stop Delora. Death revived Daren, awakening him where he had been left by Chelsea. She had left hours before, and it was soon before Delora would unleash hope and destroy the world. Daren warned Chelsea, and they went to find Nick. As he told them about what Death told him, he warned that they may not have much time. While their Journey continued, they encountered a forgotten enemy. Gabriel the Archangel. Gabriel spoke to them, telling them that the most they can do to stop Delora, is simply not enough. He explained that they would have to "slay god" to be able to kill Delora, and stop the apocalypse. Chelsea grows tired of all of his talking, and attacks. As the three begin to fight Gabriel, he is enraged, nearly killing Nick, warning them not to ever attack him again. He sends them off, and flies away, angrily.
They arrived in a broken down city, with a black tower in the distance, controlled by odd, Vampire princes and princesses. The youngest, yet most dangerous of the bunch, being Sylvia. She told them about a woman who had come long before, and slain their father Vladimir. They learned the Princes and Princesses aren't inherently evil, or good. They did what they had to to feed themselves and survive. Sylvia took Nick and Chelsea down to the town Bar, as her oldest brother, Necx, took Daren to the top of the tower to meet with Death and Delora. As they walk they encounter the last 3 vampiric princes, and the last princess. Each one did not feed in the sense that Vampires normally do. One stole souls, the other limbs, the other energy from plants. Necx took nuclear energy from the sun every Januar, to keep him fed for the whole year. Each princess also seemed to feed in away by transforming beings into other things. One by turning them into her material possessions, the other, by making them the Tower's ghostly maids. Daren learns Sylvia transforms beings into her eternal succubus demon, and uses them to capture unwilling humans for blood. Necx suspects she will do it to Nick or Chelsea, but doubts it because Daren is technically their Ancestor, and she does not want to get on his bad side. As they meet Delora and Death, Death explains he has no power to stop her, and she can not harm him (for an unknown reason to this day). Delora quickly learned the vampiric heirs can, and destroys the top of the tower, launching Daren off. Sylvia flew in, catching him and droped him on the ground with Nick and Chelsea. They look onward as the tower rips a wormhole in the air, learning Delora's plan was different all along.
The next events of his life must be condensed to due how long and tedious they were. Delora destroyed the world, but Nick sacrificed himself, so it would still be surviveable. Daren and Chelsea tried to life their lives, having two daughters, but Nocte had returned. He stole the power of the monster from the rift Delora summoned, and her power. He then killed them quickly. He took the two children, kill them, and threatened to kill Chelsea. Daren took a deal to sacrifice Chelsea, to return Earth to normal. Daren wondered around the planet for years, then, until he found a way to call help and friendship. He warped time and space, summoning Jack and Seth, his time-cousins. Daren then went in to a deep hibernation.
Jack learned that Nocte was still alive, and sought help. He found Simon and Dan Sashigami, and asked for their help. He trained them for a few months, then left as Daren awoke. Daren met the two brothers. Daren is short with the brothers at first, but when they come to aid him when he attacks Nightmare alone, he is happy with them. Daren and the two brothers then stop an Old God Invasion, which puts Daren in to another coma. As time goes on, Jack returns. He learns that they will not be able to leave before Daren wakes up, causing a paradox, which would summon the "Fail Safe" being, known as Master Blight. When they begin to fight him when the Paradox occurs, he easily defeats them all, even a full powered Daren. Daren hit him once, however, and he laughed, saying it was a fun game. He revived who he had killed, and sent Seth and Jack to their normal times. He then left, never to return.
More events I give less than a crap about occured.
Much later, Daren walked through the woods, meeting a young man named Brock, a man Dan and Simon had met who could steel the powers of others, who said he knew Simon and Dan. He challenged Daren to a friendly duel. Daren obliged, thinking he would easily win. When Brock began to use abilities and skills from Dan and Simon, Daren quickly realized he must kill him. Daren did so, just as Simon and Dan arrived. They learned of his copying powers, and Brock rose once more, with all of Daren's powers. He overpowered them all, then used his copy of Daren's time mask, and teleported away, causing a paradox in a far of timeline, being slain by Blight, and returning with his power. He returned, battling the heroes simultaneously, Simon and Dan in Simon's Dimension, and Daren back in the normal world. He quickly defeated them all, but they rise up, having Olempire blood, in Arisen forms. Daren used his strongest power, given almost all the energy from Simon and Dan, to obliterate him and Brock, removing them both from existence. Daren's mask is unharmed, and launched into space. As this happens, a strange Armada of Darkness finds it in space. They use it to obliterate any resistance against them on Earth, flaring the sun, they turn the world into a massive desert. Delanie patched Dan and Simon up the best she could, but Dan died quickly afterwards.Simon, Delanie, and a exiled angel named Jessica fight back against the Armies of Darkness. As they do so, Delanie learned of a device that can create a being which could reset the planet's life once more. She combineed many aspects from time, and Daren's body as a base, creating a super being known as Vis. Vis made quick haste of the Shadow Queen, whose ring was the ring Brock used to Copy powers, but excluding Blight's powers. They soon learned once each queen died, the kings arrived. The King of Darkness, named Lord Oculus, a literal rip in reality, appears. Oculus takes his staff, which combined with the light staff, creates a very powerful weapon, turning into any weapon of his choice. Vis and Simon are forced to flee. Blight appears to them, saying he can do nothing, since his domain is reality, and Oculus is not part of reality. Blight gave Vis his Staff however, and tells him to flee from the reality. Simon uses his ultimate power, and travels with Vis to the center of the Reality Ring. Delanie following behind. They entered combat, Oculus still far too powerful for all of them. Delanie is slain in combat, rising up in her Arisen form later, and rolls her new 100 sided dice. It fliped all realities, resetting them.
Bec appears in the flipped reality, making him roughly the age of the universe, since he had existed much longer than that.
Bec also is split, one going into the future, one into the past, the latter one becoming Daren's father. But Past Time Travel harms people's powers, since they already exist in the time they go back through.
Many years later, Daren is revived from Demise, who had returned, and absorbed his body. Daren then enters in the events of Bec's life.
(It got VERY choppy at the end, because I've been typing this for a whole hour. GET OVER IT.)
Powers: Daren had two major sets of powers, which had large numbers of abilities. ~Fear: This control over the essence of the emotion of Fear in the universe was his most used. He uses Solid Fear, Fear Discharge, and many others.
~Courage: This power is just like Fear...but was used very little. It is unknown what it REALLY does, since he only activated it, never keeping it on to summon abilities.
Weapon: A black katana named Haze, which he used to take the souls of his fallen enemies, it also decayed many materials, even flesh and muscles.
