Since we are all technologically inclined fellows here, it seems to be a semi-proper place to discuss.
Right now I have a OEM HP that will soon be replaced by a custom-built 550 dollar rig. But for now, here are my meager specs:
-AMD Athlon II X4 ( It works. I can't overclock thanks to HP's motherboard. ) -6GB Ram ( To lazy to check) -Windows 7 Ultimate ( Totes legit. ) -HP's horrible baby-man motherboard. ( Can't be overclocked. ) -No graphics card. ( Again, thanks to HP's motherboard. )

@MrChubbs
What are you using your computer to do? A water-cooled i7 sounds like cray cray overkill. |

1.6GHz Dual Core Pentium something something
1GB RAM
The graphics card has a very long name, and is appallingly useless.
Can't do much in terms of shaders.
The machine is probably mostly dust now too.

| Running VMs, compiling things, some 3D rendering. It boots pretty awesome when you combine all that with the SSD I run Win7 on. |

Can it emulate the Wii, Xbox 360, or PS3?

| How big is your SSD? Do you use it as a main drive or just for booting? |

| Using an SSD as a main drive is a general bad idea. Most of your stuff does not need to run that fast. At most, it should be a secondary drive. |

@Ghost SSDs are good for system drives, but bad for storage. Well they are good at both, but suited to be a system drive. |

Exactly. I can understand certain things needing to be booted fast, or wanted to be booted fast, but using an SSD to write your notepad documents, or save files is just stupid. |
