Say you have a very large wall, from 1 brick, and you want to create a doorway. You should be able to carve out the doorway, instead of having to split the large wall brick into several others.
Why have this? It makes it easier to create doorways, caves, trenches, tunnels, and many other things, and speeds up the building process?
Support? Great. No support? Please give a good reason.
Either way, please take the time to reply. Thanks! |

| Yes! It'd be so much better and easier. A lot of people have the potential to build good things but they dont because of how annoying it is to place a bunch of bricks just to make a hole. |

@sassle12 You don't need this brick carving thing to make inappropriate things, you always could do that if you're willing to face the consequences.
As a builder, I definitely see the value in this. I support, but how would it determine depth of your "carving"? Maybe you want to only cut a stud into a brick, and then a minute later want to carve a whole tunnel. It doesn't sound like it could be an easy thing to use... |

| They could have something like the resize tool to determine what you want to cut out of a brick |

| ROBlOX parts are strictly blocks. Those cylinder brick types are mere meshes. |

| The funny thing is that this has already been scripted. Haven't you seen it on the blog?Wow, you really need to pay more attention... |

But I believe ROBLOX may have mentioned making this happen in the blog once. |

We use to have meshes which somewhat covered this, though it wasn't a physical object and there's many reasons behind that. If you've used the point editor in Little Big planet, then you'd know that every time you adjusted the shape, the game would slow down by some extend, this would happen ten fold on Roblox because the engine will have to re-apply physics to the block that the engine might not know exists causing many bricks to glitch out.

@Fargey
Not true.
@People saying there will be inappropriate shapes
They can make it a reportable offense.
@People saying they already have it or mentioned it in the blog

@Notunknown
It might reduce lag, because there would be fewer bricks needed. |

No support, Great idea, but what is the purpose to build? When you want to cheat? |
