The thing is that we can't use it normally yet. As anybody has already noticed :SetRoll will cause the chat bars to "turn" with them, so they actually look rotated - which is proof that the actual rotating works.
They haven't incorporated it yet, tough.
You can use GUI rotation with billboard guis and :SetRoll, best is to use a "top down camera".

NOTE: At that time, I thought it was a bug (due some other bug I encountered which really is a bug - mouse.hit doesn't work normally using a total top-down camera, not to mention that a total top-down camera prevents your character to move (because it doesn't have a "front" direction). |

I guess. In other words: One can use a Gui game with some semi-kind of Gui rotation using normal GUIs for the "0" rotation, and the billboards for other rotation.
Forgot to mention that all the GUIs will have the same rotation then (or +90 or -90)...
But, as you see, the code is apparently there. |
