You should never underestimate a storm or a hurricane even if they are weak they can become strong out of no where |

but hurricanes become weak somewhat quickly after they make landfall. they gather up power over the water, when there's no more ocean for them to toss about they start losing power and speed

even a cat 1 hurricane is very powerful as a hurricane stays on land or goes further inland it loses power and speed. Though seeing that New York is pretty close to the ocean in terms of where Sandy hit yeah. Though emergency services seemed to have it well under control for a hurricane, they had flooded streets blocked up and everything

They really did have it pretty under control though. I'm surprised really, because normally by the time emergency services show up most of the worst has already happened
