Over the length of my time here on Roblox, I've noticed how many people show up in a group and straight away, start asking all the wrong questions. You shouldn't have to ask about anything in your group if you read the guide or you're an old hand at progressing in a group. So, I present some guidelines.

1) Examine what you can obtain from and give to this group. Will it be support, innovation or a valuble fighting ally? What can the group do for you?

2) If you feel you and the group will gain from your membership, next check out all the bases, uniforms, divisions, creations and the general level of activity. If it is a creative group, check out what the members have created. If it's a war group, raid it, on your own account or an alt.

3) After that, read the guide it may have. Do you agree with the contracts for creating a piece, the obligations increasingly higher ranks place on you, the general ethos of the group?

4)If you agree with that kind of thing, next look for what is required to enter the group. Do you have to create an example of your work? Have a certain amount of KO's? Be generally 20% cooler than the rest?

5) If you fulfil the requirements and you are absolutely sure it won't be a complete waste of time, apply or join!

6) If you're accepted, re-read the group guide, announce yourself on the wall and buy whatever uniform there is. Make sure it's the right one!

7) The most important of all: HAVE FUN! It's a game, enjoy it.

8) Get out there and do whatever you have to do. And remember, groups are ALWAYS optional.

So, I hope someone will benefit from this.

Good day.

Thanks William. You're right, I've never seen something like this on C&G and thought there should be something encompassing a lot of groups, not just one.

Not even a little? A teensy tiny bit?
Well, I suppose being the owner of a group must be a lot more stressful.

Pointless, because anyone who is too stupid to know how to behave in groups is too stupid to read the guide, and anyone smart enough to read the guide is smart enough to know what to do in groups.

It's more in hope than expectation. If a random player accidently clicks Forum, then C&G, they'll hopefully see this.

Yup. Also, kind of a guide to see if you can actually do something for a group without actually wasting funds and stuff like that.
