"Unrecognized Accelerator" is an error that occurs when the Aion server tries to execute commands to ban a player without banning them initially; it's like sending a kid to his room without telling him what he did wrong.
It could just be an internal server error that'll fix itself eventually. However, if this has gone on for a while, he should contact any current game staff so that they might fix this. The message, if he sends it, should point out that he never was banned to begin with. If they backlog it, it should work that way.
The error often occurs when bots are banned, but they place nodes on other hosting IP's in order to take down other players. Easily fixed however. |

At first we thought it was the Direct X thing but that didn't work it changed it too "Failed to set the Graphic Accelertation Preferences"

Oh! There was also another game that said something similar.
Wizard101 said it had something to do with Graphics as well.
So could his graphic card be fried, broken, or missing? |

| My guess is that his GPU is so old that it doesnt support 3D acceleration. |

| Get him to update his graphics drivers, see if that does anything. Also what GPU is it? |

I think it is his GPU as well. Because 3D Acceleration is the error he gets on Wizard101.
I suppose it is time to upgrade xD. |

| Yep, that is the problem! Thanks for all the help! We got in touch with a computer Tech and they said that his GPU is probably fried or out of date. |

| Of course it is his GPU, I cannot think of any other component in a PC that does 3D acceleration... |
