I've reached prestige master on black ops 2 and enjoyed my time reaching the rank. I feel though, since I've reached the maximum rank all I've achieved is a bunch of days played. Surely it was something to aim for, getting all the unlocks, 10 create a class slots and that cool emblem. It just seems pointless after that though, repetitive, boring. Arms race has shone light onto black ops 2 giving it some more fun, but not enough.
Black ops (1) on the other hand is good. We had to deal with the negatives, commando knifing, ghost, famas, etc. Though black ops 1 had 5 more prestiges, unlocking gold camo, giving you something to reach for. Surely it was lacking a fix for ghost, gun balance and terrible snipers but hey, I actually dislike getting trapped in my spawn with a load of gold msrs hardscoping you. It was lacking in the 'bring something to next prestige' but it was fun. I might be a little bias here, since it was my first cod experience and in my OPINION the best, it's 2 years old and holds 20k+ easily. What are your guys thoughts?
ADD ON:
Zombies in black ops 2 has a ranking up system, though black ops is funnier. We have to deal with the terrible connection in black ops 1, but when you got good connection in that game, my goodness.
I've just included my opinions about the boredom after reaching prestige master, have any of you guys reached that level, or not going to prestige? Or have you never left the game, that started it all....
Thanks,
- ComeDownToTheCellar |

Bump, share me your opinions.
Btw, just thought I'd include I've improved at multiplayer. In black ops I held a .97kd and in black ops 2 I hold a 1.22kd. |

| Well a factor of reasons: got the game at the 26th of November, and played quite a lot, double xp weekends, being good at the game, completing challenges. I reached prestige master in 9 days. |

| I'm guessing you don't play call of duty, my friend. The game has been out for 6 months, yes 6 months and out of that 180 days, I have 9 days played, think about that. |

You must have a very low IQ then. As a standard VGF member, cod is one of the biggest and most antipicated games of the year. Every year it comes out on the 13th of November. Now you do.
Sam, don't start an argument you can't win, clearly you don't play cod so why am I even wasting my time with you?... |

What does this have to do with IQ? So if I am not one of 2 people who cares enough to memorise the release date of a game 6 months after it comes out, more so if I do not have any interest in said game, then I am automatically dumb? I see your logic there, tell me what is the make and model of my laptop? If you can't answer then you are clearly of lesser IQ than me.
I don't even know why we are having this argument, you have massively overreacted to my indifference to the Call of Duty franchise. |

| Clearly it's simple for me to memorise a date, yes a date is a number, a word and a word. It's like you memorising your birthday, it's easy. I play call of duty, meaning that I do know stuff about call of duty. So yes, I would know the release date of a game I play and enjoy. Nothing to hide there, but. You came here acting like you knew everything, giving me criticism because I've played a game for 9 days out of the 180 days it has been out. When you didn't know the release date, and what is wrong with the way I live my life? I have quite a lot of time to spare? Maybe I actually have fun, enjoying myself. Not giving criticism to a game that you don't know the release date of? Where are you lord, where are you... I've officially lost all hope. |

Alright guys, it's official. If you wish to criticize a game you need to know the day it was released. Cause that's clearly the most important part of a game. |

This is from your post in another thread: "I'm a cod player, and generally the community is more tactical, kind and advanced."
That's quite the superiority complex you have there. Also could you provide an example of my "better than you" attitude, I still don't recall posting anything of the sort, even after reading through my other replies. |
