I'm asking this because there are some builders, like me, that are pretty much incapable of building without this shortcut. I honestly think that removing the shortcut took away something I really depended on just to make numerous models. You recent players with probably be like, "Just use CTRL+C and CTRL+V." Well, I don't want to. I think having to press two different shortcuts to do one simple task is a second too much and adds more time to building in the long run than just pressing CTRL+D and having the block or model come up quicker. I would rather have it as an option or on a different shortcut rather than completely removed from Studio. |

| "More time to building in the long run" - It takes an average of 0.1 seconds to hold CTRL and press C and V. Long run? Give me a break. If you use CTRL C/V quite a few times, that adds up to a few extra SECONDS of build time. If you can't spare a few seconds every now and then, I have no idea what you are doing on Roblox. |

| Maybe I overestimated the 0.1 seconds. Maybe it was 0.2 or 0.3. My point is, it does not add up to any significant amount of time. |

| If you're too lazy to hold CTRL and then press C and V, you should feel really bad for yourself. |

This is such a small problem compared to some of the other problems studio still has, but I can see Ctrl+D being quite a comfortable shortcut if you're duplicating different parts/models throughout the map quickly though.
Plus I know not everyone is good at locating keys on the keyboard as good as others can. So I kind of see where you're coming from. |

| CTRL+D was actually a good thing, what if you had something important in the clipboard of "CTRL+C" so they don't want to copy another thing, so they could just duplicate the the other thing instead, so it uses some time, duplicate was a good feature, it gets annoying when you copy something from one side of the map, go to the other side, and forgot to dupe something from there and have to copy it and paste then go back all the way to the other side to copy the other model again. |

| Well, it doesn't look as if Duplicate isn't coming back, so all these Ctrl+D'd threads shouldn't be here any more. |

| Ctrl + D always made my camera move so I never got use to it. Ctrl + C then V works fast especially sense it is a universal command used everywhere. |

Let me remove the whole part about the time length since that's complete BS knowing that I posted this at around 11pm last night.
Plus the reason why I don't use CTRL+C ->V is because I'm not used to it on Studio since I've always relied on Duplicate. It feels normal when I'm using it during a usual internet browsing basis, homework, etc. . . ., but not when I'm building something. I'm not lazy since I had to build something as a little model for class (Was a simple structure), but I just didn't like moving my pointer finger back to C and then slightly stretching it to V, especially since my left hand has to passively rest in a WASD position (Ring on A, Middle on W/S, Pointer on D) for better comfort.
The main, main reason why I even created this specific thread was because I had that bug with trying to paste something in and had to press V a numerous amount of times. I wanted the shortcut back in case problems like this were to occur again. |
