~Articles of War~ These Articles apply to all members of RBRN, and will be enforced.
1. Every person who will not observe, acknowledge, or follow the orders of his or her superior officer, or refuses to honour an officer or superior by the use of the titles "Sir" or "Ma'am". All persons so offending, and being convicted thereof by the sentence of court martial shall be exiled.
2. All persons in or related to the navy being guilty of discrimination or bias based on age, gender, religion, disability, race, or country of origin. All persons so offending and being convicted by court martial shall be cashiered, exiled, or such less punishment as the transgression warrants.
3. Any mariner, officer, or soldier of His Majesty's Navy being accused beyond reasonable doubt of aiding the enemy by the use of espionage, sabotage, or other malicious acts. All persons being found guilty of the aforementioned crime by court martial shall be exiled.
4.Every flag officer, captain or commander who, upon signal to fight, shall refuse to do so through cowardice or negligence. All persons so offending and being convicted thereof by the sentence of court martial shall be exiled.
5. Every person in the fleet, who though cowardice, negligence, or disaffection, shall refuse to fight any enemy of any force. All persons so offending and being convicted thereof by the sentence of court martial shall be exiled.
6. No mariner, officer, or soldier of His Majesty's Navy shall refuse to accept the surrender or parole of defeated enemies, unless those enemies are suspected (beyond reasonable doubt) of espionage or piracy. Refusal to do so will result in demotion, or such less punishment as a court of inquiry sees fit to impose.
7. Every person in or related to the fleet who shall desert his post, or entice others to do so, shall be exiled, or such less punishment as a court martial sees fit to impose.
8. If any person in or belonging to or related to the fleet shall make any mutinous assembly upon any pretenses whatsoever, every person offending herein, and convicted thereof by the sentence of a court martial shall be exiled.
9. If any person in, belonging to, or related to the fleet shall conceal any traitorous or mutinous practice or design, all persons so offending and being convicted thereof by the sentence of court martial shall be exiled.
10. If any mariner, officer, or soldier in His Majesty's Navy shall strike, draw a weapon upon, or cause deliberate harm to his or her lawful superior, all persons so offending and being convicted thereof by sentence of court martial shall suffer exile.
11. If any person in the fleet shall quarrel or attempt to cause a quarrel between himself and another member of equal or junior rank, all persons so offending will be punished by suspension of rank, demotion, or such less punishment as a court of inquiry sees fit to impose.
12. Any person who will unlawfully set fire to any magazine, or cause deliberate and willful destruction of naval property, is liable to demotion or such less punishment.
13. All other crimes not capital committed by any person or persons in the fleet, which are not mentioned in this act, or for which no punishment is hereby directed to be inflicted, shall be punished by the laws and customs in such cases used at sea. |
