post here on all the scary movies you have ever seen in your life.
Example: ALIEN, 1979 horror film about a crew of 7 who drop down on a planet and look around, they find a bunch of ALIEN Eggs and one egg hatches and latches on to one of there faces, an alien later bursts out of the guys chest, thus starting the horror film ALIEN.

@candy
I don't classify Scream as horror because it's too cheesy |

It's not cheesy.
It's being tongue in cheek, because it's a love letter to real horror fans.
And watch it again. It's a horror film, tongue in cheek or not. The opening is proof. |

Scream 4 was cheesy. I watched it in a plane and I just gave up on the series.

That's Scream 4. Not Scream.
And nevertheless it still has horror elements, so yes, it's horror. And again it's not cheesy, it's just trying too hard to be tongue in cheek. |

| But the Scream series seemed more Thriller than it is horror. There was no supernatural being in Scream, so how was it horror? |

Who said supernatural beings make a movie horror?
Friday the 13th (1980) Maniac The Texas Chain Saw Massacre Black Christmas Psycho The Birds Jaws Alice Sweet Alice Cannibal Holocaust
Those are all horror movies, and not one of them has a supernatural element. I don't get what you're saying. |

Just noticed that site proves your point more than mine.
But what I'm saying is a horror film doesn't need supernatural events to make it a horror.
A lot of the time, yes. But like the films I mentioned - not always.
So, just because Scream lacks a supernatural subplot, that doesn't make it any less of a horror film. |
