*One person only, for now...sorry
Conflict.
From the day humans appeared on Earth, to the day nuclear weapons were invented, conflict has always been around.
They were caused by disagreements, disputes on political entities, the fight for diminishing necessities...the amount of reasons may be infinite.
Of course, with conflict comes the rapid advance of technology. ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Around 20 people have settled near a river. The mud around it is fertile, and the area around it is very hilly. Your people have built huts made out of hardened mud and thatched roofs. Nearby is a supposed tribe that has been rumored to harbor an aggressive leader; your people fear of an attack from them. Your people depend on your actions...perhaps, with the unity of your people, it will prosper and overflow with wealth....or will it disintegrate and collapse like a house of cards? ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• [QUESTS, LEVEL, AND EXP] Quests are like objectives you can complete; if you do complete one, you will be rewarded with EXP, or experience points. There may be bonuses, or added benefits, for example, if this is your quest, "Gather 5 crops", and you complete it, then you are rewarded with a certain number of EXP. Your bonuses are the five crops. More quests may be obtained by (1) Leveling up (2) Completing a certain quest
Level is basically the 'badge' to show all your hard work and dedication, plus it also means you have bragging rights. You level up by gaining certain numbers of experience points, for example, you reach level 2 by having 30 EXP.
Experience points, or EXP, are things you need to level up. You can obtain them from (1) Completing a quest (2) Having your tribe do a specific task (Gathering berries, harvesting crops, etc) (3) Leveling up (4) making/creating something new These are just a few examples... ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• [WARFARE AND TERRITORY]
Warfare can be conducted by anyone with any form of weapon; it will be my choice whether who wins or not, and it will hopefully be fair. Of course, you aren't the only ones out there. Hostile tribes and bandits may be a threat to you. Thus, you must form a militia to fight off these invaders.
After defeating another tribe, the people in that tribe will join you, although sometimes reluctantly. You gain territory, or the amount of land your tribe controls. It can be used to gain resources and raise your population. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• [RESOURCES AND FARMING]
Resources are the materials you contain. For now, your resources will be shown on a neat list. Some resources you require are water, food (in general), wood, and stone. They can be gained through mining, farming (explained later), and chopping. Of course, it required at least one available person in your tribe.
Farming is basically planting your a certain number of crops (farming is a quest in the RP, too) and harvesting them when they are ready. They help you gain food and the seeds of the harvested crops may be used to grow more. Unfortunately, the lack of nutrients in some soils and natural disasters (explained later) can help deplete your crops. Farming will be explained thoroughly in the ISRP, when we get to it. ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• [FOOD AND WATER]
Ah! Food and water...what your tribe needs to survive. During times of famine, your people will not get a lot of food and some will not survive; it is the same with drought. Some food you can obtain at the start of the game are berries, nuts, and wild fruit.
Water can be easily found in that river your tribe has settled in. One thing though, since your tribe has no innovation or idea (yet) that is able to purify the water, the water may not be as clean as you are used to. ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• [EDUCATION]
Education and learning will be important to your people later on. Currently, your tribe has a very simplistic writing system and communicate with grunts and noises. Parents of children are beginning to teach them how to gather food and water. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• [NATURAL DISASTERS]
Natural disasters may occur to your tribe, such as drought and famine. This will harm your people and possibly ruin huts and other structures. They will occur randomly and without warning until your people understands this and develops ideas to predict a disaster.
Natural disasters include but not limited to floods, earthquakes (very rarely), blizzards, really heavy thunderstorms, and hurricanes (unlikely unless you live on the coast) and tornados. ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• [TECHNOLOGY]
Your people have very primitive technology, and the majority of it consists of stone tools. You may obtain more technology by gathering the resources essential for the creation of the object. As time progresses, you will advance in technology. ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• [CURRENCY]
Your people have no form of currency, and instead trade, or barter. You may start to use a form of currency later on in the game. ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• [CRIME]
Not all the people in your village are nice and happy! There may be a criminal or two, that constantly lurk in your village. As of right now, it would be easy for your people to catch any criminals..but when you become an empire...well, that's a different story. ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• [GOVERNMENT]
Your current "government" consists of you only. You are the leader of the people, and you rule alone as of right now. You may develop into more complex governments as time passes by and technology advances. ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• [BUILDING]
Building buildings and other structures is not an easy process. To begin, you must have the available resources to build it. Next, someone who is knowledgeable on the subject must be hired to build it. You must wait until the construction finishes, which may take days, weeks, months, and even years. ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• [TRIBE SHEET]

Accepted...
You have 20 available people to do whatever you wish, may it be to gather nuts, water, or resources. The tribe not too far away from you appears to be extremely hostile and they do not wish for another tribe to be operating in the region. They have been sending scouts and your people are frightened.
