| Seriously, I've been playing the 4th one around 25 hours in the past 6 days alone. I am a true addict, and I still am only 85% through. It is literally one of the most pure-fun games ever made. |

| Eh, not the biggest fans of the Underground ones, they started to veer from skating and doing random Jackass-style missions. Still really good, though. |

Well, THPS 2-4 was good, but after that, the Tony Hawk series got repetitive and so, makes it so that there is only one more purpose left in the series:
To find good music to put onto your music player. (Seriously, Neversoft's picks on music is professional, especially when they made the second - fifth [I think] Guitar Hero games.)

Yeah, the soundtracks for these games are phenomenal. But I think THPS 4 was the peak, the past 3 had all brought important new ways to combo to the table and the 4th one brought it all together in one amazing package.
After that, it started getting too repetitive and turned less to skating, and more to its quirky humor and really weird mission types. Still all great games, just the same games, more or less. |
