Can someone tell me why the Marlins failed expectations so badly?
I just remember they were 22-19, Stanton just broke the scoreboard on a grand slam, and everybody was going crazy. I stopped following baseball after that, to discover they were a measly 59-75, and I was shocked. |

signed so many good players, threw all their money at these "great" players.
Horrible management/coaching/teamwork led to the demise of the franchise. |

The Marlins signed Bell, Reyes, Burhele. Blah blah blah. The team was expected to do very well, but everybody excluding Burhele, Stanton, and Reyes were at career lows.
Then they traded Sanchez, Ramirez during the season. |

Ok I have two more questions...
When did people start to realize "Wow, the Marlins...They are done. Overrated."
And did you guys buy into the Marlins before the season started? |

Right around the all-star break if I'm not mistaken
And no, not many people did. |

When they started trading off the players at the trade deadline. It showed me that they were sellers, season over.
I didn't drink the Kool-Aid. I believed those three players would make an impact, but not playoff worthy. |
