Making this new thread because the old one got kinda somewhat off track. --------------------------------- Plot:
The surviving family members from the original "The Texas Chain Saw Massacre" return in this thrilling sequel. No longer as murderous, Leatherface and his guardian go on the run for several years and end up buying a cemetery. Quenching their needs, they dig up the bodies they bury, fill up the plot, and use their corpses for whatever purposes they may have. But what happens when someone finds out what goes on when the funeral's over?
Cast:
Michael Rooker ... Old Man Derek Mears ... Mortician Kane Hodder ... Leatherface ------------------------------------- Basically the Mortician is a new member to the family. I figured it might be hard to work with just LF and the Old Man, so why not add someone new.
However, unlike the other three hundred "sequels", this wont just randomly have him show up. There will be a reason and purpose to his appearance. |

So I figured the mortician could be this guy who worked for the Old Man.
When he notices the grave digging, he tells the Old Man he wants to be a part of it. That the Old Man was the closest thing to family he had.
So there you go, newly adopted family member.
And who knows, maybe hes just insane enough to give the family back their urge to slaughter.
Sequel idea, much? |

LOVE IT! I love the fact that they bought a cemetery , it's brings that creepy vibe. I wish that a director would come a long and read this and make it into a film and actually make it good , not change the whole idea.
Actually if you have a camera Leslie and a couple of friends , you could make this into a short-film. It would still be better then Texas Chainsaw 3D. |

But yeah, they'd have this old Texas cemetery, with one of those creepy funeral homes on the property.
It'd be interesting to see how Leatherface and The Old Man hide their "furniture" from the mortician. Maybe the mortician can only go into the basement, which is divided from the house by a metal sliding door, reminiscent of another certain door... |

Those are all possibilities.
But I think ill wait, use it as a short film when I'm older, and take it to whoever owns the TCM rights.
Of course, they probably wont want to do it because TCM has had a thousand sequels, reboots, and remakes already
So maybe I can just rewrite it into its own thing. I don't know. |

But they do have Michael Rooker figures.
And just for the hell of it, in a few of the sequels the Old Man's name is Drayton Sawyer.
I just prefer to use the aliases given in TCM because the less I know about them, the creepier they are.
I don't want to know how their related, their family history, their names.
All I need to know is that they're together. |

This sounds very interesting. I read it, I'll probably comment more later but I have to go for now. And this goes for the other related thread.

Oh yeah, I like this idea it must have taken you quite a while to come up with all of this. I like how you have Michael Rooker as the old man. |

Thanks.
Derek Mears just has a creepy feel to him, and Kane Hodder has played Leatherface once before so I chose him. I would say Gunnar Hansen but I think hes too old to play a role that would only be 3 years older. If it were taking place 30 years later, I'd say sure. But Kane is younger and seems to be more in shape as shown in the recent Hatchet films.
And I chose Michael Rooker after seeing him in Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer. Reminded me a lot of Jim Siedow. |
