| So you're saying vegetarians are a separate species? |

| Because vegetarians are humans, and you classify the dietary needs by the species, not individuals. |

No, no I'm not. I'm saying they do not actively partake in eating both plantlife and meat, thus they are not omnivorous.

"Because vegetarians are humans, and you classify the dietary needs by the species, not individuals."
>needs
Please point out any dietary need that humans have that is solely limited to meat.

Species
"A group of living organisms consisting of similar individuals capable of exchanging genes or interbreeding."
Just cause someone eats something else doesn't mean we aren't the same species |

Okay, lets summarize this
Omnivorous: Is the capability to eat both plants and animal, meaning they can live on either one, or both.
Herbivore: Can only eat plants. Their digestive system is not capable of digesting meat, so if fed meat all the time, then they will eventually die. The most vegetarians will do is throw up, but their body will still be able to take in the nutrients of meat.
Carnivore: Can only eat meat(mostly). Their digestive system is not capable of digesting plant matter, and just like the herbivores, will die if fed a plant-based diet. Those who eat only meat can still digest and collect nutrients from the food.
You can't classify individuals, first off, only the species. So humans are omnivores, and vegetarians are humans. You don't just use one website to conclude your reasoning, and Merriam-Webster won't be the best site to define biological terms. That's why wikipedia, no matter what your teachers say, is pretty accurate since it gives you a description of what it means through many sources
Finally we get to anatomy
Canines: Used for tearing meat, herbivores don't need that. Humans all have canine, so we can't be herbivores
Incisors: Our incisors our flat, just like herbivores. Canine incisors are pointed in order to bite off more meat, but ours are flat so we can cut plant matter. Since we can't be herbivores, but lack the pointed incisors of carnivores, we can only be omnivores.
Salivary glands: This is only seen in omnivores. So by saying vegetarians are herbivores that means they lose their salivary glands
Fermenting Vats: These are seen in nearly all plant-eaters. Humans don't have this structure.
Instincts: When you're lost in the wild, you will eat anything, be that you are a strict meat eater or a vegan. A starving herbivore would not meat in any case, and vice versa for carnivores. A bear, who usually eats meat, will eat berries if it means necessary.
With all this evidence, it would take a dimwit to still think vegetarians are herbivores.

| If one can eat a meal solely on plant, then they can eat one based on meat. It's because we are omnivores. Sure, its not healthy, but our body can allow it. |

| kevin gets what I mean. Vegetarians are still humans. As I said before you classify by species, not individuals. Vegetarians are humans, humans are omnivores. Its simple. |

Far Cry 3 is amazing.
Deleted it from my hard drive though, because my "friends" were blackmailing me to tell my parents I owned a copy if I didn't constantly give them what they wanted.
Just Cause 2 is also magniflorious. |
