| As I said in another thread with a similar topic I always assumed keeping the additional places after your BC expiried was a "Hey thanks for paying and trying it out!" sort of a thing. I mean we don't exactly lose gear that is BC only when BC expires. |

But why doesn't ROBLOX listen to their users? When I joined in 2008 (on an account that I lost) I thought that ROBLOX was actually free, and it was. Now it's hardcore pay2play since it grew larger. And I quote a blog post written by SHEDLETSKY HIMSELF:
"We used miked’s formula from our BC formula contest to find 20 experienced users to help us test selling shirts and any other upcoming BC features. Unlike BC accounts won in contests, which are lifetime accounts, these accounts expire in six months. When a BC account expires, you get to keep your extra places."

Mods and admins are providing us with obvious bull, saying it was a bug. Trying to cover up your attempt to rake in more money by 'encouraging' users to renew. lol.

Excellent, the (US) Federal Trade Commission is there to prohibit "unfair and deceptive acts or practices in commerce."
Let's hope some Americans report this, since a 2007 blog post said we could keep our places. |

@Dulex I am not willing to compromise for this. We should keep our places if they revert this or give us back our places if they revert this. It's totally unfair.
Btw to anyone who wants to know, I've check every blog post regarding BC features and none of them actually said the ex-BC people will lose their places. In fact most of them regarding the subject say that ex-BC people KEEP their places when their BC expires.
Although the blog articles may be void due to how long they've been out, I have not found ANY legal document or official post regarding ex-BC not keeping their places therefor making the articles not void but in fact valid. |

Blox, are you American? If so, I'd suggest filing a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission if we don't get this feature back. We paid for those games, then Roblox took our money and the features.

This has also prevented me from updating my places, as I don't want to start the Studio up. This so-called 'glitch' has been around for so long is has been taken as a feature. Surely a professional corporation should at least warn users before this happens, but this is ROBLOX...
Also, this isn't the first time I've been annoyed with them. About a year ago, when they released the 'Recommended' games feature I was unable to join games. After contacting the 'help desk' for two months I gave up and quit. However, last December I found out that is was my DNS router that was the problem and that simply updating the firmware was the solution. Surely the 'help desk' should have recommended this? |

I noticed the American FTC website has the option to report foreign companies. If you have something similar, look for something like that.

I still have all my games active, but they are for all intents and purposes being held hostage, because any edit I do to them makes it so they all go.
I don't think I can even save it and move it to an alt.
