| Yeah, I know the normal process, but my teacher thinks she's matrix and she wants us to know the EXACT process.. I'm not stupid.. It's just that she's different, the other classrooms do the simple process, but my teacher wants us to multiply it by 100 or 360.. something like that.. |

Boost, I know that, I'm not stupid. Raapster, if I lived in the US, I would be a seventh grader. I mean, billingual schools in Mexico ,are private, which makes kids better and more intelligent, and by 1 year less, that I don't know why it is like this.. but most of the people that have graduated from my school have became company owners.. |

Identify the categories and relative percentages assigned to which slice of the circle graph. Each category is shaded with a different pattern or color and the percentage is written on the individual slice. For example, 300 students were asked to name their favorite planet and a circle graph was drawn representing results as follows:
Mars = 15 percent
Venus = 20 percent
Jupiter = 28 percent
Mercury = 22 percent
Saturn = 15 percent
2 Convert each percentage to a fraction over 100. In this example:
Mars = 15/100
Venus = 20/100
Jupiter = 28/100
Mercury = 22/100
Saturn = 15/100
3 Multiply each numerator, or top portion of the fraction, by the total number of observations. In this example there are 300 observations:
Mars = 4,500
Venus = 6,000
Jupiter = 8,400
Mercury = 6,000
Saturn = 4,500
4 Divide each of these results by 100, which is the denominator for percents, to yield the exact-data for each slice. In this example:
Mars = 45 votes
Venus = 60 votes
Jupiter = 84 votes
Mercury = 60 votes
Saturn = 45 votes
I don't get it... erm.. I think that's the process. |
