Over the past couple of days or so
Basically, I was thinking, When starting a Clan is it better to start off extremely organized and have every little thing made including departments such as; [(Department of Aggressive Diplomatic Affairs (DADA)]<--That's from UAF btw. But like departments that won't necessarily have any affect what so ever in the clan until activity, members, and lots of other things become larger.
Some of the 'organized' things I was thinking about were the departments, the full blown fort with amazing tech, tons of already made training places, a mainframe, many many guides explaining every little detail in the group.
OR
Just have basically everything makeshift which will just get the group by for while it's still growing. Like a very low grade group.
Now the argument of this is basically, which is better for the group when it's first starting and which will cause people to join and be active and stay active.

Not necessarily divisions, just "Departments" on paper.
I was thinking that doing the first idea would help with drawing people in cause they see all the opportunities and fun sections of the clan that would seem fun to them and would possibly mean more activity for TSM.

I don't really know. I always like having everything orginased, but you always need to make sure that you'll actually get the clan growing in activity and such. Make it look fancy, it's better imo. |

Well, it depends on the clan really.
Normally, when starting a clan, it is best to have the usual logo, fort, uniforms, roleplay background, and HRs ready. You will need HRs or a few supporting LRs ready for launch. Those are best obtained through having friends or contacts in past clans you have served under, or currently serve.
As regards divisions, I would only make them once the group hits, say, 200 members, however, exceptions can be made. But I would wait until you get 200 members. 200, because that is a milestone for when there is enough people to join divisions. |
