A "Carve Tool" could be invented, and we can start out with a brick thats like 100x100 and carve shapes with it, why make boring plain old rectangle/square (believe it or not, EVERY brick part is considered a square by their outline when clicked) when we can carve out of bricks to make shapes more efficiently than rather use like 10 bricks just to make a octagon. I believe that a reduced amount of bricks can generate less lag, however I do not know if the idea works efficient since I have no idea what would happen if there was a place with like 2048x2048 stud blocks carved.
This is kind of similar to Agent767's fragmentation system only this could actually change the shape of a brick. Could you think of how building would be easier with this?

| 'Twould be a great tool. Since they removed the meshes (I have not had the privilege of using them because I am a 2012er), I have not been able to make anything detailed, such as a mesh. I think it would be a great replacement of a mesh. |

Something similar to this was scripted, and received the attention of the Roblox blog. Here's the link:

| That is only a script you run in a game, and you cannot make anything exactly how you want it because explosions are not completely controllable, but still looks like an awesome script, no doubt. |

| This reminded me of Blender, I always like to carve out something. But then I hate it and don't save. |

| I believe this is scriptable, and has already been made. |

I support. Scripters can't make a unique shape with scripting and no mesh. You can with many bricks, but not with only one brick.
Do you like bananas? I have one for you to taste. |

Support, this would be a better and faster way to get the same result as cframing and (in 2009) meshing.

WNTS: User meshes. Why? It's really just an alternate form of user meshes. |

Well,a carve tool to cut into a 2x4 brick. Make it round and stuff like that,to create your OWN brick. That would be nice. |
