Please vote yes or no to each proposal, format your response like this:
1) yes 2) yes 3) no
Except you either put yes or no for each proposal.
First proposal: We should have HRs and NCOs (corporals up through all the sergeant ranks, and lieutenants) complete the NCO/OTC Training, which will be modified to meet our current standards. The program is like an ROTC program to help NCOs and Lieutenants become better HRs than what they would be than if they weren't in the program. I think that this program should be held at Forts North and Colt, and at North Point Institute, and that everyone in the program participates, and that everyone succeeds. Those that do NOT succeed will immediately be placed back into the program so that they pass. In this case, failure is not an option; try and try again until you succeed.
The second proposal: We should have historical methods of skirmishing, battles, raids, etc. I think we need a battlefield, and on that battlefield, you can either skirmish or battle the enemy, but you need to use strategy and battle tactics, like the use of firing line.
Third proposal: Instead of doing so many trainings a week, we do drills. We start out with a training a week, then over the next few days of that week we do the drills. I believe the drills will keep the information that the trainees learned during training in their minds, allowing the information to be long-term, or it will stay in the guys' minds for a long time. |

| If you are NOT part of the Union Army Government, do not bother to post, for your post will be ignored. |

I'll agree to all of them. So: 1) Yes 2) Yes 3) Yes (more trainings though; 1 is just draining people) Although I'm not so clear as to what number 2 and 3 are. Can you give me a more detailed explanation of it?? I may or may not change my answer. |

For proposal two, we basically fight old-school style, or in a more historical fashion of the Civil War time period. So we use the firing line and stuff like that.
For proposal three, we do one or two, maybe even three trainings a weekend and cover a certain style of fighting or formations, orders and leaderships skills, and etc., but we do drills throughout the week to keep the information learned during the trainings fresh in the trainees' minds so that they can easily remember and will less-likely forget what they learned during training. |
