There are quite a few things that are wrong with the way we defend so I hope I explain it to you well. //Note all instances and/or examples I use are from real life situations or if I am talking about my experience on the ground it is specifically for murada not any other fort.\\:

Giving up ground:

Almost every officer in USM that I have ever meant do not understand the term falling back and will never give up any ground strategically. A good example of giving up ground strategically is the battle of Stalingrad.

The Russians realized that at the time they simply did not have the military strength to fight the Germans in a gentleman's duel so they dragged the Germans into Stalingrad and eventually won by bringing in reinforcements and then doing a pincer movement.

Now a good example of how to do this at a USM Fort would be for instance, Murada. I was commanding 2 other people when we were facing 7 raiders. I commanded them to fall back and garrison a building while I garrisoned the building by the river meurs. The result was good and all the raiders decided to rage quit. The final score was USM: 35 Raiders: 4.

Solution to this problem:

Have officers order troops to actually defend. They are used to the idea that they will always be attacking. Well we are defenders.. Defenders defend and the result of this idea has been disastrous.

If you are indeed a officer and do not believe me then I will tell you this. Before I joined USM I raided once as a guest and I garrisoned one building. The final score of the teams was this:
USM: 50 Raiders: 127 this was the final score because, USM or Zdude rather decided to shut the game down. My score was 37 - 7 and yes even USM's old best asset Fears was there fighting against me..

But, it didn't matter that he was better then me because, the rate that others were dying was greater then what he could have accomplished.
----
Movement:

One of the key aspects is movement... If you move like you are doing guerrilla warfare 'In example small teams utilizing advantages of the terrain' then you are more likely to have success then you would be trying to just charge at once.

The reason being it is more organized, confined and to be better put can give you a tactical advantage it gives you more options.

A plus is that you do not have to just spearhead the raiders position but, if you have a support team to cover your flanks you can do a pincer movement and force the enemy into the center from which then you can just decimate the enemy.

A good example of this would be the tactics used by Operation Barbarossa plenty of times Mein Stein encircled soviet troops by using a pincer movement and then demolished them.
Not the outcome of the operation itself but, that type of movement is what we should do.

I understand some people do garrison buildings and this is usually by the raiders spawn any how so if you took my point above into consideration then garrisoning is out of the question for the enemy.

I also understand the problem with wall shooters but, if you have a team of 3 guys on top of the left flank's hill then that solves this problem rather quickly because, if the team plays it correctly. They can just Annihilate the enemy. Which will more simply put get rid of that issue completely.

A problem with this is most do not want to play a supporting role.. Well more times then I can count I have used that tactic and I personally ended up with almost always a good kill/death rate. Generally it would be: 20 - 5 or 34 - 7. Which trust me does help a lot.

Solution to this problem:

Assign teams of 3-4 men when you get there 'or when there is sufficient man power there' and sort out who will do what that way your task is more organized, clean and sufficient plus it can help you on all the things I stated above.
---
To quickly sum up the rest of the problems:

USM soldiers are almost always poorly trained, the way to solve this would be to higher the standard training and have them more often, in example for every drill sergeant set a minimum number of training's they must do a week. They should be more towards combat, and not be wasting time knowing what pay grade stands for what if they need to know that they can just type in: United States Military Ranks on Google.

Other then that I do not see any problems at the moment besides the fact that the high ranks never kick out traitors..
