**Background**
If you have ever gone to LMaD, you know that many people attempt to sell their items for real world money, whether it be via eBay, PayPal, or gift card codes. Currently, such actions are not allowed on ROBLOX, because it often leads to scamming, which ROBLOX does not want to promote nor do they condone. However, if there was a scam-proof system set up by ROBLOX, these scams would stop. Its effect would be similar to the trade system. Before, there were many scams that involved trading, which the trade system has helped to stop.
**What it is**
A way to sell items for real world money would be popular among many LMaDers. Not only would it prevent scams, but ROBLOX could make money from it. Yes, you heard me, ROBLOX could make more money from it. On each sale, a small tax, perhaps 2.5%, would be charged. Sales would be through PayPal. Users would have the option to enable the feature, and would sign into PayPal.
**Why have this?** It helps prevent scamming, if it's through ROBLOX, just like the trade system helped to reduce scamming. Many LMaD users who would want to sell items for real money could do so without being scamming. And, ROBLOX could have an opportunity to make money from this.
**FAQ** "Won't this lead to different types of scams?" It could be a feature only found in the Let's Make a Deal forum. There could be warnings around the site never to trade outside the system, that there is never a need to "go first."
"This is pointless." Refer to the 'Why have this' section.
**End of FAQ Section**

There are kids on this game and they are easily scammable for their/their parents money. Roblox does not need players trading system turning into real life money.

I'm not sure where to go with this.
It's a good idea, I'll give you that
But this site contains alot of younger children, do we really want to have them messing with real world money trading?
I think things should just stick with the virtual currency for now. But this is always an option for the future if to be revised. |

We dont need kids with irl currency floating around. Its a good idea but if you want to trade for irl money try a different game.

| It's not 'floating around.' It would be a secure system. Perhaps only 13+ (or older, even) could only access it, and you would need to verify your age. |

I don't think this is a very good idea...
The kids on here are easily scammed as it is, or tricked into believing they're getting something worth it.
All it takes is one idiotic kid and two idiotic parents to cause a lawsuit, which is best avoided.

People can scam kids for their limiteds and sell them for irl money. So, you can still target little kids to make money.

Yes, you can do it as it is, but you can get more limiteds from them, and gain profit for scamming them. And this profit can be used to buy robux and get more limiteds.

Basically I am saying, this would encourage scamming of little kids so they could turn the scammed items into irl money.

| Most of these 'little kids' wouldn't have BC, let alone limiteds. |

" Most of these 'little kids' wouldn't have BC, let alone limiteds. "
As I said earlier, most isn't good enough. It only takes one spoiled kid, and one idiot parent, and it causes way to much trouble. |

@pew The whole point is that the system is secure, because it is through ROBLOX, not the "black market."
@cold Maybe you would have to agree to a contract before being able to use the system?

I agree with that. There is a reason they have info@roblox.com. Scamming would be punished.

As I said earlier, it only take ONE PERSON to flip out and press charges for fraud.
And seeing as ROBLOX owns all legal rights to anything produced on this website, that could be pretty bad. |

There would be a contract you'd have to sign so they wouldn't be held accountable.

| I'm sure roblox would gladly undo the scam if you threaten to sue them for something that you agreed to when you signed up for BC... |

But you would agree not to hold them accountable, by having to agree to the contract.
