The new "Lights On" Contest, otherwise known as the Dynamic Lighting contest has been launched.

Most of you are probably really excited about entering, however they seem to put important things in the fine-print on the ROBLOX Blog, or in this case - Not even include them.

Age is irrelevant to the ROBLOX community and I believe everyone should have the chance to enter this contest.

The last video contest was held by John Shedletsky, and in this case age was not a concern, the instructions for entering the contest were:

1. Create a game trailer for your ROBLOX level (30 seconds or less in length)
2. Upload your trailer to YouTube
3. Add your trailer to your place media gallery (this costs 500 R$)

Because ROBLOX are using a third-party application, part of the TOS is that participants must be 13+ and can not work or be affiliated with ROBLOX (That is irrelevant, sorry Shedletsky - You can't win)

ROBLOX is about showing your talents and putting an age limit on your talents is basically saying:
"Sorry, you're not good enough because you're not 13"

This is unfortunate to the younger ROBLOX players.

If you agree that there should be a second way for people under the age of 13 to enter support this forum.

Thank you
- Magicalbeakz

No, ROBLOX should consist of 13+ mostly, I hate how many little kids there are. Besides, they'll just lie about their age.

I agree little children are pesky. But why don't we give the entire community a chance to do something?

Why cut someone off because they are too young?

I'm sorry, but "some" kids are mature at the ages under 13... for example, 10-12 year old. Again, I say some. I'll agree on that they won't they won't change the rules though.

I spoke to mods:
Apparently if you're under 13 it wont be a problem if you enter.
