C++, I like Code::Blocks. Ish uses good ol' Notepad++ for JScript. Lua, I heard Scintilla was nice. Used to use Xcode for everything until I installed Windows on me Mac :P |

C++ - just G++ ;p C - Sammee Lua - Just run on a C++ program Java - Eclipse Markup/JS/PHP/whatever - Bluefish |

@DrHaximus
Sublime Text is an IDE. It has all the features you'd expect from an IDE.

I really don't understand people who use external editors for RBX.lua
it seems like it's easier to be able to run your code in an enclosed environment instead of having to screw around with porting things over |

| notepad is more of a text editor, you are right. But sublime is 100% ide, considering the point proving fact that I can run code. |

Don't have to deal with consistant crashes when using external editors. |

@Hax Well, reliable text editors don't crash, it's faster to create new files, other editors have indentation, they look better... Plus you can just directly copy the script from editor to roblox script, so yeah. |

@HAX
Even so, how much power does Studio use when all you're doing is editing a script, compared to a text editor? |

I'm not sure what your question is, m8
usually if I'm coding in rbx.lua it's not for anything other than making stuff in roblox |

| Yeah, but if I make something for Roblox OUTSIDE of Roblox, atleast I get better features. Atleast I get stability and speed. |

On the topic of the whole "I really don't understand people who use external editors for RBX.lua" thing, I'd like to throw in my two bits about the god-awful text wrapping in Studio's editor.
That is all. |

@HD, our school blocks .exe files, so I was unable to use it.
Any suggestions? Am I able to change the file extension?
