I've been recently receiving many PMs that are just unacceptable to request a promotion. If you're one of those officers that are PMing me just jumbles of ranks and names, you should pay very close attention to this example.
This is the only format I will consider valid for promotions to be verified. If it is not in the same format as my example, I will reply "Invalid Report."
(Example format)

Signed, Vr00000m1, Sergeant Major of the Army -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you have any questions on how to exactly produce a training report in this exact format, PM me your question. Just remember, as an officer in USM, your work is to be professional by following set standards like this one. If you were not able to send a correct training report to me, none of the enlisted get promoted, and your reputation goes down, because you've let your trainees down.
Don't ever tell the trainees to send me a PM saying you told them to ask me for a promotion, that's just irresponisble and I will see to it that you are removed from your commission.
These practices are not for harrassment, nor for my own pleasure of having mutual respect. I'd like to see more responsible and committed officers who will continue to train even with this in place. I am your key into command, if you show me that you can handle training reports, I'll be more then glad to reccomend you to a high command position, because we're in need of people to fill them.
Thank you for reading, Vr000000m1, Sergeant Major of the Army |
