Hello, i am trying to clone a whole model and have tried a lot. I have successfully cloned just one brick but not a model. My model has only bricks, just two. I am lost, re-vamp the whole script if necessary.
function onTouched(hit) child = game.Workspace.Blah.GetChildren() f = game.Workspace.child[i] for i=10,#child do clone = child[i]:clone() clone.Position = hit.Position clone.Parent = game.Workspace end end game.Workspace.cloneee.Touched:connect(onTouched)
thanks, need some help |

| I'm assuming workspace.Blah is the model you are talking about? |

Workspace["clonee"].Touched:connect(function(p) for _,v in pairs(Workspace["Blah"]:GetChildren()) do if v:IsA("BasePart") then v.Clone().Parent = Workspace v.Position = p.Position end end end)

| Why aren't you just using the 'Clone' method on the model, and then parenting the clone... You don't need a loop... |

| 7? Im 14 sir, it just looked as though he was taking the hard route, when im honestly new to scripting. I read his blurb saying "too good for that" and stuff like that. I honestly hate those people. And blah blah blah hurt my feelings, iv been on reddit long enough to withstand this. |

Erik, if you have a problem with my blurb, guess what... I don't care. I go on SH when I'm bored. Yes, I took a longer way because I was just replicating what you did, in a shorter context. If you got a problem with that then, Lrn2Script you 6 year old. If my blurb honestly makes you that uncomfortable, then you honestly are just pathetic. Saddens my what 5 year olds are becoming into these days. You wanted help, we offered it. If you don't appreciate it. Get Out. My blurb just states the truth. And me being a stuck up snob? A 'stuck up snob' doesn't spend most of his time volunteering to assist people with whatever problems they might have. And if a script someone offers me doesn't work, I would just say "Hey, it didn't work. What do you think the problem could be?" Not, "lol u stuck up noob cant script1111"
Seriously, I've met 2 year old's smarter than you.

@Erik Your being kinda rude.
Just clone the model the way you would clone a brick
Workspace.Blah:Clone().Parent = Workspace
Please leave. |

We use grammar because its eaiser to read. I guess you care, your complaining. Kids shouldn't use grammar? Why do they teach it in school? Rats ass* No one made fun of you, we helped and you got mad and we pointed out you're being rude. |

| Erik, these people are trying to help you. And, if you know how to use tables you should know about veerstrong's script. Do not diss the people who help you. And you say you're 14. And hate grammar. Read this: i wl gve cerd 2 poepe 4 buidig vhoecl. Plus, if someone who helps you accidentally does something wrong, you should NOT go on their profile and flame them. I'm a year older than you and I am evidently more mature than you. |

We use grammar for Lua, its kind of a practice that perfects it. These guys were just trying to help, they didnt have to help you. |
