Greetings, Chieftain Bokult Skull-Smasher. Your group of orcs and goblins has gone hunting for deer, boars, and bears in a birch forest, and have set up camp in the ruins of an old castle. Two of your men were killed by elves while chasing a boar, and you cannot let the elves go unpunished.
Your forces -
Twenty mixed melee troops. Twenty archers.
Known enemy forces -
Thirty to fourty swordsmen.
The crumbling ruins are the perfect hiding places for goblins and orcs, but elves will have no trouble navigating the forest.
The ruins consist of some walls surrounding a watchtower. They are crumbling, but the watchtower is safe enough. Some rotten wooden houses are sitting outside of the walls. The ruins are surrounded on three sides by cliffs overlooking a valley. |

Five of your goblin archers climb to the top of the watch tower, and five more use stone and chopped trees to patch the walls up. Some of your orcs hide in the ruins and the trees.
The rest of your troops await orders. |

| The rest go to scout, when the elves come they will warn the troops. |
