The ever rising mountain that stands as a barrier between ourselves and personal success seems to loom over us all.
It is with great sorrow that I must leave you all now. I have accomplished all, and more than I could ask for.
Despite the usual posts, I am not one to bother you all with a sad, self pitying story of why I am leaving, but instead, toleave you with a greater sense of accomplishment, and a new sense of why you should maintain a now very seldom used attitude of hope, and will.
At the start of my experiences on roblox, I was what I like to think of as a normal looking guy. I had the noob face, no Bux, a plaid DC shirt, some jeans, and shaggy hair. I would wander around in different games on the game page, roleplay, and all in all, have fun. It was within those games that I heard discussions about groups. I did a bit of research on what those were, and joined my beloved FEAR. Believe it or not, I started out with Spec Ops, and did not join the main group until I was already a well known Major in Spec Ops. I have had made many friends, and also had many others dislike me. They may even consider me an enemy, yet I do not believe in enemies. If you are reading this TONYSPIZZA, I consider you one of the best, most inspirational members that I have ever met in the entire group of FEAR Spec Ops. You may not have enjoyed my company in more recent times, but you were in the very first training I ever went to. You may not remember all this, but despite all others talking, and making fun of you, you stood proudly in line, and took all of their teasing, because you understood that you were above their insults, and that talking back would only put you at their level. As I watched this, I thought about what a true leader should be, and saw it in you. I am sorry to say that you have taken the road that looks nicer, and I don't think you will like where it ends. As I moved on, I met a few more people, that later on helped me on my path to success. After some work, I landed in a spot of influence that I am proud to be in. To all of the recruits and low ranking individules out there, do not lose hope in FEAR. If you can't seem to get anywhere in the group, and are losing hope in being able to do so, remember this. What would all the HR's do without you guys? It seems that it is everyone's dream to become an HR in FEAR. This is not the way to think about it. My dream was to become a High General as well, but of course, that was out of the question. Now I see that I was wrong the entire time. If everybody got their dream rank, where would we be? We would have a ton of leaders with no army to command. FEAR is nothing without you guys.
To be successful, follow these few words of advice:
Do not speak in line unless you are either spoken to, or leaving, no matter how important you think it is. It may sound hard to do, but trust me, it pays off. Do not get mad at an HR for being strict or mean. Remember that they have worked their way up to where they are, and deserve the privelage to bend the rules a bit. The last thing I have to say is this; don't bring your personal feelings to a training. There is no easier way to earn a demotion then losing your cool, and defying an HR, or arguing with another trainee.
To the HR's:
Be understanding with the trainees. The same thing above about bringing feelings to the field applies to you as well. Remember that there is a reason that these members are ranked where they are, and that they will learn from their mistakes easier than they will from your yelling and attempts at correcting them verbally. I believe in strict, almost emotionless HR's are the best to learn from. I may have hated the idea of training with them to start with, but I have come to understand the reason they are so successful. Instead of making failed attempts to silence members, and yelling at them for wrongdoings *cough* *STELTH* *cough* they just get kicked. If they are not silent when you ask, they get kicked. If they disobey you, they get kicked. This way, they learn that making excuses and arguing is pointless. This only goes so far though, because if for a minute, your feelings get in the way, and you kick someone, or yell at them out of anger, you have done a wrong. Keep emotions to yourself, and be strict in the way described. Nobody likes a mad, whiny HR.
To my friends:
xXxZONExXx: When we met, you had the usual short, light brown hair in the tix catalog, and you were asking about how to get a promotion. Nobody was really helping you, so I felt like it was my duty to. Since that time, you and I have seen each other many times, and you have become my best friend on here. I have watched you climb the mountain of success without hesitation as I sat back in awe. I am glad to see that you have reached your goal, and you make me very proud to have met you. Words cannot describe the impact you have had on me, and although ROBLOX is just a game, I feel as though the lessons you have taught me will impact my entire outlook on life. Thank you.
AndroTrig: You are the image of what an HR should be. I cannot count the conversations Zone and I have had about you, and in the end, I am proud to have been able to call you a friend.
Jagged741: I find it ironic that in typing this, I only just realized how you chose thise last few numbers of your name. They are all on the same row if the num pad, going upwards. Thank you for making me smile when times were doen, and for being a fun HR to be around. I know that others have mixed feelings about your teaching strategy, but you bring the light to my days.
Runeticpolis: It's kind of funny that when we met, we were being compared by somebody as "opposite twins," but you have been there to give me a laugh when things were a bit too serious.
TONYSPIZZA: You may not like me much anymore, but you were my inspiration, and I hold a deep respect for you. Thank you fir the start.
All unmentioned members: Do not give up hope. If you were told to lay a brick wall 100 feet long, and 10 feet high, youwould most likely deem it impossible. If instead, you were told to lay 5 bricks a day, you would have your wall sooner than you knew. Do not look at the big picture, just focus on what you can do each day to come one step closer to success, and you will get there sooner than you know.
Farewell FEAR, and don't lose hope.

I never liked FEAR. My first group I was in was UCR....ahh...memories. I don't participate in war clans anymore, they just aren't important to me.

My primary is one of my personal groups, where I share the leadership with 2 of my best friends.

You spent 2 hours writing a love-note to fear?
Damn.
Somebody wants a promotion.

FEAR is corrupt and controversial.
I do understand what you're trying to say though. |

| Thank you so much for this, CakeCitizen. At least somebody appreciates my effort. Before you all go posting things about not caring, please understand that I did not write this so that others would want to join FEAR, but because i want my comrades to understand how much they meant to me. The above comments about me wanting a promo for writing this is very ignorant, seeing as this is a farewell note. Lastly, if you don't care, don't waste your so called precious time responding to me, please, by all means, move on. |
