and because this is the spam forum I hope you don't mind, but please this will make no sense to you; so you should ignore it

[5.3. High Command]::
The following ranks are part of High Command, or “HIGHCOM.” for short. They mainly
oversee all activities of TCR.

HIGH COUNCIL: The High Council is handpicked by the Emperor. They have the power
to manage group relations, change ranks, and associate their places with TCR, along with all
the other powers previously mentioned. They answer only to the Marshal(s), the Vindicator,
and Emperor. They have command over all ranks beneath them (Legate, Tribune, Centurion,
Praefect, Evocati, Legionnaire, Auxiliary, Cohortis, Munifex, Footman, Tiro, Initiate, and
Citizen). There are currently four members of High Council: Corlian, Billybobjoeybob, Jjjakey,
and XFrostheartX.

MARSHAL: The Marshals are also handpicked. This rank has all the abilities previously
mentioned and the ability to exile. The Marshals answer only to the Emperor and the Vindicator,
and have command over all ranks beneath them (High Council, Legate, Tribune, Centurion,
Praefect, Evocati, Legionnaire, Auxiliary, Cohortis, Munifex, Footman, Tiro, Initiate, and
Citizen). There is currently one Marshal, which is Carson15675d.

VINDICATOR: The Vindicator is the second in command of TCR. Currently, that individual is
d0peyd0pe. She will only be replaced if she is demoted, leaves the group, or retires. She has all
the powers of the Emperor, and is the second most powerful member of TCR. She answers only
to the Emperor.

EMPEROR: The Emperor is RodgerDodger. He is and will be the only emperor, unless he quits
or sells the group. He owns the clan, has all the power in the clan and can do anything he wishes.

He is the most powerful person in the clan. He is to be addressed as “Emperor”, “Lord”, or “Sir”
and is the leader of TCR. He is to be respected and honored.

[6. Promotions]::
A promotion is an advance in rank. Promotions are given out when earned, mainly through being
active, showing talent or fighting skill, and participating in trainings, raids, and defenses. Being
promoted will rank you up to the next rank; no “rank skipping” is allowed. Everyone shall follow
this process, although there are some exceptions. An exception would be if someone accidentally
left the clan or asked to be temporarily demoted for retirement reasons.

The promotion process goes like this:
>Person participates in training/raid/defense
>Officer notices skill/potential
>Officer recommends person to General or higher
>General or higher considers recommendation, current rank, and activity
>General or higher promotes or doesn’t promote person

[6.1. “I Can Has Promotion?”]::
If any member of the clan asks for a promotion, they will be ignored. If they are persistent
in asking, they will be demoted. If they still ask after they are demoted, they will be exiled.
PROMOTIONS ARE EARNED, NOT GIVEN.

[6.2. How to Be Promoted]::
As stated before, promotions are given out when earned, mainly through being active, showing
talent or fighting skill, and participating in trainings, raids, and defenses. The following sections
will explain more.

[6.2.1. Trainings]::
Check the shout often for trainings. There are usually about 5-10 trainings every day. You can
tell when there is a training if the tag in the shout says “[Training]” or “[TRAINING]”.
Do well in a training to be promoted. “Doing well” means showing skill and following orders.
After training, the host/co-hosts will give recommendations to HIGHCOM. Those recommended
will usually be promoted afterwards.

[6.2.2. Defenses/Patrols/Raids]::
Participate in defenses/patrols/raids often. If officers know your name and see you often, you
will have a better chance of being promoted. In addition, if you do something heroic, like kill
a group of people at the flag and recapture it for TCR, you will have a better chance of being
promoted.

[6.3. Who Can Promote?]::
Members of High Command can promote. That means that members of High Council,
Marshal(s), the Vindicator, and the Emperor have this ability. Although, Officers can
recommend people for promotions.

[7. Demotions/Exiles]::
Demotions are the opposite of a promotion. A demotion is a reduction to a lower rank, meaning
that someone who is demoted is moved to a lower rank. People are usually demoted after
repeatedly breaking the rules, being inactive, being disrespectful, or not following orders. It is
considered a punishment.

An exile is a kick from the clan. Like being kicked from a server, you will be kicked out of the
clan. If you decide to rejoin, you will have to start from the beginning at the lowest rank and re-
earn your rank. If you are repeatedly exiled, you have probably been permanently exiled. To
be permanently exiled, you have to have done something unforgivable, like admin-attack or
repeatedly flame other members.

[8. Raids/Defenses]::
A raid is an attack on another war group’s base or fort. It is called a defense when we defend
our or an ally’s fort from another group attacking it. This next section will describe the proper
technique of raiding and defending.

[8.1. Raiding]::
Raids can be hosted by any officer (Centurion and higher). Raids are fought against the current
enemy of TCR, but they could also against a random clan. There are also “friendly raids” that are
fought against allies or friendly clans. Those are more for practice.

Before a raid, officers will hold a rally to gather members and give instructions. When enough
people come (about 10-20 people), then the raid will start. The link to the place that will be
raided will be posted in the shout, along with the tag “[Raid]” or “[RAID]”.

[8.1.1. Main Types of Raids]::
There are two main types of raids, “Capture the Flag” and “Team Death Match”. In a “Capture
the Flag” scenario, the raiding team will go into the flag room/area and capture the flag(s) or
terminal. They will then defend and hold the flag for the required amount of time, which is
usually 20 minutes or 1200 seconds. After holding the flag for the required time, the raiders will
win. There is usually a win message that shows up after the time is up. If that shows up, take a
screenshot by pressing the “PrtSc” or “Print Screen” button on your keyboard as proof of the
victory. This type of raid is most common.

The other type of raid is more “old-school”. It was more common before the flag technology
was created. In this type of raid, raiders and defenders fight each other to gain a certain amount
of KO’s, or kills. The amount of KO’s until victory is typically 250 KO’s. This raiding style
depends more on fighting skill and not so much tactics. It is also used for “final battles”, or the
deciding battle in a war.

[8.1.2. Switching Teams]::
Upon entering a fort, you are usually on a “Civilian” or “Visitor” team. You have to switch your
team to “Raider” or “Enemy” then. In order to do this, look for a GUI on your screen that says
the name of the team you want to join or “Team Switch”. It is usually on the left side of the
screen or in the bottom right hand corner.

[8.1.3. Raiding Etiquette]::
When raiding, it is important to follow ALL of the rules in the base. Typical rules are no
flaming, no exploiting, no visitor raiding, no spamming, no spawnkilling, no uniform raiding,
and no cheating. If you break any of these rules, the defending team has all the right to kick
or ban you from the game, which is something we do not want. In order to keep this from
happening, always listen to the raid host and use teamchat at ALL times. You can teamchat by
typing %% before whatever you want to say. Also, remember to be respectful (See section 3.3
for more information).

[8.2. Defending]::
Defenses are held at Fort Augustus or at an ally’s base. When defending, our goal is to guard
the capture point and prevent the raiders from taking it. If it has been taken, then the goal is to
recapture it and guard it. Defenses occur whenever there are people raiding Fort Augustus or
when an ally requests our help to defend their base. Defenses can be easily identified in the shout
by the tag “[Defend]”, or “[Defense]”.

[8.2.1. Raiders and Visitors]::
Raiders are to be shot on sight. Visitors are NOT to be harmed unless they harm you first. If the
visitor is killing people or capturing the flag, then he or she is visitor raiding. Visitor raiders are
to be warned then kicked. If no one with admin is at the fort, then treat the visitor like a raider.

[9. Trainings]
A training is an event that helps people various things, including discipline, combat, and tactics.
This next section will describe types of trainings, rules, and some tips on hosting a training.

[9.1. Types of Trainings]
There are several different types of trainings, each teaching a different subject. As mentioned
before, trainings can be based in discipline, combat, or tactics. Most trainings are based on
combat. Trainings can also contain all three of the basic subjects.

Within each type of training, there are events that will help improve your skill. The following
link leads to a forum describing many events that can be hosted. http://www.roblox.com/Forum/
ShowPost.aspx?PostID=87741967

[9.2. Hosting a Training]
Officers, or Centurion and higher, can host a training. There will be special exceptions to some
Praefects who are being tested for Centurion. Those who are not hosting the training will watch
or participate in the training. The following are edited tips taken from the training guide above.

• Try not abusing admin. We, as the High Ranks, should be an example for the members.
• Join the trainings yourself sometimes, this shows the LR's you have skills (I assume
you have them, show them why you are the teacher).
• As mentioned before, use a FFA to gain time to build.
• Note names of good fighters who know how to listen to the higher ranks.
• Keep the trainings fun, it is a game after all.
• Play a game sometimes, like Swordfighting Tournament. Ask members to come along. This
increases bonding.
• If you have co-trainers, ask them to hold a training with the people who are out of the game.
This way everyone can keep training.
• Before starting your training, check your admin by typing ":h Test"

[9.3. Training Rules]
• Wear your uniform to trainings.
• Be quiet in the line.
• Listen to and follow the orders given by the host.
• Use common sense.

[10. Divisions]
There are currently two official divisions, the Crimson Knights and the Praetorian Guard.

The Crimson Knights, or TCK for short, is a prestigious group filled with the most loyal, active,
disciplined, hardworking, and skilled soldiers. They never give up. They always look to victory
during the bad times. They are the people the Emperor can trust to be at the front lines, flag,
or trainings when he needs them. The only way to join is by being invited to the group by the
Emperor. Here is the link to the group: http://www.roblox.com/Groups/group.aspx?gid=774547

The Praetorian Guard, or PG for short, is filled with the best the republic has to offer. Only
the most skilled soldiers will be able to enter this prestigious division. Its primary cause is to
guard the Emperor and spread his will. Praetorians must only be devoted to TCR. The only way
to join is by being invited to the group by the Emperor. Here is the link to the group: http://

[3. Respect]::
“To respect” is a verb meaning, “to hold in esteem or honor”. All members of TCR, including
pending, are to respect others as if they were your friend. This includes no insulting, name-
calling, flaming, bullying, “trolling”, and being rude. Doing any of those will get you a warning
then a punishment of some sort.

[3.1. Respect to Clan Mates]::
All TCR members should respect their clan mates, simply because they are in the same group
and have the same common interests/enemies. We expect no insulting, name-calling, flaming,
bullying, “trolling”, and being rude, as stated above.

[3.2. Respect to Higher Ranks]::
Members with a rank lower than someone they are speaking to or interacting with should give
the utmost respect to him or her since he or she probably has more experience and earned a
higher rank. If the higher rank is not respecting of a lower rank, they should have good reason
not to. An example of this would be if the lower rank is disrupting a training/defense/etc. and the
higher rank punishes him or her.

Lower ranks should also call the higher rank “Sir” or “Ma’am”, depending on the gender.
The lower rank should not talk back to the higher rank and should follow their orders (see
section 2.1 for more information).

[3.3. Respect to Enemies]::
TCR members should always be respectful of enemies for several reasons. We do not want to
start a war with every single clan that raids us. We are honorable, respectable, and “friendly”.
We are not that “low” that we need to be disrespectful. We can and will let our skills do the
“talking”. Members should not insult, name-call, flame, bully, “troll”, or be rude to enemies, no
matter what.

[4. Grammar]::
All TCR members should attempt to use English and English grammar. Most of our members
speak, read, write, and understand English. Bad grammar is sometimes considered unintelligent,
unprofessional, and not readable. We require attempted grammar so that we can understand
each other. It also makes you look more intelligent and professional. You do not see CEOs of
huge companies and world leaders talk unintelligently and unprofessionally without grammar,
therefore you should not either.

An example of bad grammar: “hay i liek 2 tak liek dis” Notice the misspellings and no
punctuation. “I” is also not capitalized.
An example of acceptable grammar: “Hey I like to talk like this” Notice that the spelling is fixed,
but there is still a lack of punctuation. “I” is also capitalized.
An example of perfect grammar: “Hey, I like to talk like this.” Notice that all the words are
spelled correctly and there is punctuation used.

[4.1. Punctuation]::
Punctuation is “the practice or system of using certain conventional marks or characters in
writing or printing in order to separate elements and make the meaning clear, as in ending
a sentence or separating clauses.” Examples of punctuation marks are periods ( . ), commas
( , ), question marks ( ? ), exclamation points ( ! ), quotation marks ( “ ), parentheses ( ), and
apostrophes ( ‘ ).

Periods, question marks, and exclamation points are used at the end of a sentence or quote.
• Periods are used when you have a declarative sentence or general statement. An example would
be “The Crimson Republic is the best.” Periods are also used to abbreviate certain things, like
Mr. for mister.
• Question marks are used when asking a question. An example would be “Did you say that TCR
was the best?”
• Exclamation points are used when giving orders, shouting, or to show strong feelings. An
example of an order would be “Make a line!”. An example of shouting would be “Axios!”. An
example of strong feelings would be “Yay!”

Commas are used when separating clauses or listing things.
Quotation marks are used when quoting someone or something.
Parentheses are used when adding additional information or giving examples.
Apostrophes are used in shortening some words (Ma’am is madam), contractions (shouldn’t is
the contraction for should not), and showing possession (the clan’s power).

[4.2. Spelling]::
Words should be spelled correctly or as close to correct as possible. Words shouldn’t be
shortened. That means:
• Wat should be what
• U should be you
• Ur should be your
• Etc.

[4.3. Commonly Misused Words]::
This section will explain commonly misused words.

“Your” shows possession, as in “your clan”
“You’re” is a contraction for “you are”, as in “you’re reading”

“There” refers to a place, as in “the flag is there”
“Their” shows possession, as in “their base is laggy”
“They’re” is a contraction for “they are”, as in “they’re here”

“Than” shows a comparison, as in “I am better than you”
“Then” is a time reference, as in “I shot him, then he died”

“Effect” is a noun, as in “the effect of the shooting killed him”
“Affect” is a verb, as in “the shooting affected his health”

“Are” is a verb, as in “they are here”
“Our” shows possession, as in “our clan”

[5. Ranks]::
This section will explain the ranking system and each rank’s responsibility.
TCR’s ranks in order are:
Citizen
Initiate
Tiro
Footman
Munifex
Cohortis
Auxiliary
Legionnaire
Evocati

Praefect
[X] Diplomat
Centurion
Tribune
Legate
High Council
Marshal
Vindicator
Emperor

[5.1. Enlisted/Low Ranks]::
The following ranks are enlisted men, or low ranks. They serve as soldiers.

CITIZEN: Citizens are new recruits. They have just joined TCR and have the lowest rank. They
cannot command anyone or anything. All they do is follow orders and participate in trainings,
raids and defenses. Citizens should read and know the basics of this guide. They should also
have the uniform. In order to be promoted, they should do the promotion obstacle course
(explained in section 6.2.1), buy the uniform, and PM the marshal.

INITIATE: Initiates are those who wear the uniform (explained in section 6.2.1), or have been
in one training, raid, or defense. They cannot command anything or anything. They still follow
orders and participate in trainings, raids and defenses. They should know and follow this guide.
They have no special power in TCR, but they should show the use of grammar. In order to be
promoted, they should go to trainings, raids, and defenses.

TIRO: Those with the rank Tiro are “official” members of the group. They have participated in
at least two trainings, raids, or defenses, and are somewhat active. They should definitely follow
this guide, own the uniform, follow orders, show skill, and show basic grammar. They do not
have the power to command.

FOOTMAN: Those with the rank Footman are members of TCR. They have participated in at
least three trainings, raids, or defenses, and are somewhat active. As previously mentioned, they
should follow this guide, follow orders, show skill, and show basic grammar. They do not have
the power to command.

MUNIFEX (Mew-nee-fehx): See Footman

COHORTIS: See Footman

AUXILIARY: Auxiliaries are competent members of TCR. As stated before, they should follow
this guide, own the uniform, follow orders, show skill, be active, and show the use of grammar.
They should continue participating in trainings, raids, and defenses to be promoted. They
have the power to help the higher ranks with discipline, or keeping the lower ranks in line and
respectful.

LEGIONNAIRE: Legionnaires are active, competent members of TCR. As stated before, they
should follow this guide, own the uniform, follow orders, show skill, be active, and show the use
of grammar. This is a permanent expectation. They should continue participating in trainings,
raids, and defenses to be promoted. They have command over the ranks below them (Auxiliary,
Cohortis, Munifex, Footman, Tiro, Initiate, and Citizen).

EVOCATI (Ee-voh-kah-teye): Those with the rank Evocati excel in TCR. They are valuable
members who are active and have intelligence. They are mature and valuable members. They
should continue participating in trainings, raids, and defenses to be promoted. They should also
start showing leadership qualities. They have command over the ranks below them (Legionnaire,
Auxiliary, Cohortis, Munifex, Footman, Tiro, Initiate, and Citizen).

PRAEFECT (Pray-fehkt): This is the last low rank. After this rank, you are an officer. Praefects
are mature, valuable, active, intelligent, and have leadership qualities. To be promoted, have
the Vindicator or the Emperor test you to see if you are fit for the next rank. The test will be
based on a training that you host. Leadership and activity are the most important qualities from
this point on. They have command over the ranks below them (Evocati, Legionnaire, Auxiliary,
Cohortis, Munifex, Footman, Tiro, Initiate, and Citizen).

[X] DIPLOMAT: This is a separate rank for representatives of allied groups. They can post to
the group status in case of emergencies. An example would be if the allied group was being
raided, or if we were doing a joint-raid. They have little power over others in the clan.

[5.2. Officers/High Ranks]::
The following ranks are officers or high ranks. They serve as leaders and role models of TCR.

CENTURION: Centurions are considered junior officers. They now have the ability to shout
and recommend others for promotion. They mostly help the higher ranks at trainings, raids,
and defenses. They can also host trainings and patrols. Centurions should learn and follow the
Officer’s guide, which will be completed soon. To be promoted, they must continue showing
leadership qualities and show the higher ranks why they should be promoted. They have
command over the ranks below them (Praefect, Evocati, Legionnaire, Auxiliary, Cohortis,
Munifex, Footman, Tiro, Initiate, and Citizen).

TRIBUNE: Tribunes are official officers. They now have the ability to view the group audit log
and to delete posts on the wall that they deem inappropriate or unnecessary in addition to the
powers they had before. They should continue to host/lead trainings, raids, and defenses. To
be promoted, they must continue showing leadership qualities and show the higher ranks why
they should be promoted. From this point on, it is very difficult to be promoted unless you are
completely and extremely loyal and active in the group. They have command over the ranks
below them (Centurion, Praefect, Evocati, Legionnaire, Auxiliary, Cohortis, Munifex, Footman,
Tiro, Initiate, and Citizen).

LEGATE: Legate is a very high rank. It is near impossible to be promoted after this rank. They
have the ability to accept group join requests. Legates should be extremely active, extremely
skilled, have superb leadership, and an even better reputation. They have command over all
ranks below them (Tribune, Centurion, Praefect, Evocati, Legionnaire, Auxiliary, Cohortis,
Munifex, Footman, Tiro, Initiate, and Citizen).

[2.4. Maturity]::
Maturity is expected in TCR. Our definition of maturity is not as strict as some clans’ definitions.
We expect our members to not overuse faces such as “:D”, “:3”, and “xD”. We also expect
them to not use words like “LOLZ” and “w00t”. Just use common sense, and TRY TO ACT
PROFESSIONAL AT ALL TIMES.

The Crimson Republic, or TCR for short, is a fast-growing, honor bound, futuristic roman based
war group or clan. It strives for military dominance and expansion, and defends its allies against
all threats. The leader is RodgerDodger and the second in command is d0peyd0pe.

This guide will tell you everything you need to know about The Crimson Republic. Follow the
Table of Contents if you're just looking for one topic to look more into, but read the entire guide
if serving/wanting to serve under TCR.

If there are any mistakes in this guide, feel free to message the Vindicator. If there is something
you are unsure about, read the guide again, then message the Vindicator. If there is anything
missing in the guide, message the Vindicator. Send ANY issues to the Vindicator, or if it is very
important, you may message the Emperor about it.

[2.2. Lines]::
When low ranks are ordered to make a line, they will make a line in front of the high rank
ordering it, unless stated otherwise.

The host(s) will stand in front of the line. Everyone else should be standing in the line, unless
stated otherwise.

The line will be centered and about five studs away from the high ranks. The line will be
horizontal, meaning shoulder to shoulder. You should line yourself up with the people next to
you, in order to make a STRAIGHT line. No one should be “holding hands”.

Everyone should be in one line. Reasons not to be in a single line is if there is no more room
to make the line or if a high rank says otherwise. If a high rank says something like “Lines of
five!”, there should be five people in a line, five people behind them, etc.

When in line, you should not speak or move until you have been given permission. You can ask
for permission by saying “Permission to speak/move?”

[2.3. Uniforms]::
All TCR members/pending shall wear the uniform at group places, activities, and raids.
Personal uniforms must be approved by Emperor RodgerDodger before being worn on-duty.

This is the uniform for members with a rank between Citizen and Praefect:
