Seeing as though the roblox community is growing, so is the ways to get past the filter. It pains me to see a thread with a swear word up for hours untill a mod gets the report. The younger generation has more time to spend moderating the website, at the first abuse of power the mod powers would be taken away. The reason I suggest this is because the report button has minimum power, if I report something it might take hours for it to be reviewed, leaving it for other people to see.

Of course the system of choosing mods would be the same, and they would see to it that the user is of maturity

Ah, you're reffering to
Make so-and-so a forum moderator. (We don't have volunteer mods anymore. All mods are Roblox employees and work in many areas of the site.)
So I guess you're right,

Can't keep em under contract, and they could mess a lot of things up and not be liable for anything that had happened.

Then I know a few people who would be mods, but even if they're mature, there's always things that come with age that we might just not have.

That about sums it up. People who have been expeditionary users may be invited to be an "Intern mod". If they do good, then they might become a full mod. Intern mods shouldn't have as much power as normal mods, but their reports will come up at the top of the list, or something like that.

Well, yes, like a mod that plays for a certain amount of time and switches off to a different mod, so even if they did get the moderator power they wouldn't hold it for long. This would stop any type of "I have power" terms into the ROBLOX forums. But, you know based off of ROBLOX community there are many trolls and fakers out there.

And if they abuse the power, any moderation action they used would be temporarily removed until a trusted mod looked over it to make sure it was justified.

Wouldn't you need to be a sort of more elderly player to ensure you're completely aware of the rules, and avaible most of the time. Also some one who doesn't have a really bad or recent ban history, and proves mature and worthy enough for the job.
Also, whatever you moderate as "no" will be temporarily content deleted, until an actual mod agrees that it's reasonable, until you gain confidence with them as good at moderating the things that should be moderated?
Maybe? Who cares about WNTS, a moderator already reviewed it without commenting it as WNTS. |

Horrible idea. We're going to have idiots lying about their age becoming moderators and screwing up the forums. No support and it's also WNTS. |

This is why the moderators choose them based on their maturity, etc. |
