Yes, Roblox isnt just for Americans, But I had an idea on Independence Day for America. A Game What Basically you could watch Firework Shows, And it could be called: "Independence Day America, 2013" With a Description Explaining that in America Today was the Day they defeated Britian. And In the Game people could celebrate. (Roblox is in America, So this would be nice for other countries for diversity) And When you join, when it closes, a Free Independence Day hat goes into your Inventory. And Each year they could upgrade it like "Independence Day America 2013" And In 2014 a New version on another game would be created.

Hello FestiveVakEmpire,
This sounds like an interesting idea, and could definitely be successful to wish the community a happy Independence Day. However, trying to fit hundreds of players on one server is simply impossible: the game would crash due to the mass lag, so it would not be an experience enjoyed community-wide, as server access would be restricted.
At the same time, I would caution against your description: coming from Britain, I feel as though if ROBLOX was to stress the point that the Independence Day was a day that America "defeated" Britain, a lot of users could become upset, and it is therefore best to say simply that it is a day to be enjoyed with historical meaning: the day America was made free and was recognised as its own country.
This could rapidly become a new ROBLOX custom and tradition, and I would support the idea. The hat could also be made limited afterwards, giving it a value as well.
Happy Independence Day in advance,

Dssdundonald ----------------- Ok I see. Take the Britian part out and just say "Americas Freedom." I didnt mean on 1 server, I ment like a normal game. I like the idea of the Limited. |

FestiveVakEmpire, hi again.
Although the event happened hundreds of years ago, it was a big casualty to the British Empire, the first of many to come as we slowly lost one third of the world. Many of us Brits are patriotic, and it hurts to be reminded of how we lost our power. Statements like the one you made can often lead to a bit of anger, which can result into flame wars.
Remember that it would also be historically incorrect to say that America "defeated" Britain, because Britain carried on, all that changed was America was no longer under British Empire control.
Hope you enjoyed the history lesson.

| As SurfKing12 said, it's important that we allow America to celebrate its triumph, and I too don't have a problem with a celebration on ROBLOX. All we're worried about is the "America defeated Britain" part. |

Being British I support this, but please be aware that Britain won I think four more battles than the Continential Army and Briitsh people do not live in America as you have said.
Anyway, I think giving items away on special occasions, in this case your Independance Day, is a nice idea. |
