| This is how you ruin a game's proper theme. |

It looks interesting, but how exactly is it a FC3 DLC? I mean...its nothing to do with it. |

| Well - as long as it is content, then it must be DLC, right? Right? |

@Cat No, the game's already finished. It's a good DLC, it's doesn't ruin the proper game, and it establishes rules on its own. Sure, it's a different branch unlike the style of DLCs that further delve upon the universe- but they're still legitimate. It's kind of like Red Dead's Undead Nightmare- just ALOT more campy. @Zoozooba Its downloadable content you can by for 15 bucks for Far Cry 3. How is that NOT DLC? |

I mean how is it related to Farcry 3 in any way. Surely it uses the engine and mechanics...but nothing else is the same.

@xcalibur
If you realize, I said theme.
Suddenly, they turn jungle theme into some kind of 'CoD in Space'. |

The theme of the Far Cry 3, do you see?
It was jungly. Just like far cry 2 was in africa terrain.
This one ruins it and every aspect of it. |

| Be happy that is does not build on the main game story-wise. So yeah, they're not forcing you to buy it, my comrade friend. |

@Cat Really, so just because the main game has to adhere to a theme- does that mean that this story- with no relation with the main game at all- has to adhere to the same theme?
No, it does not. It's executed fairly well here. |

@Cat I can also still apply Red Dead Redemption's Undead Nightmare as my example, though a much, much lesser extent. As it does revolve around the same set of characters, so really it's much more like fanfiction, except done by the actual writers. |

@zek yes it will be because no one will ever get tired of campiness
@jjakey why should I buy that when I can make the horse in Skyrim flame and breathe acid lollipops upon innocent civilians with its mods |

Because it's Oblivion and Oblivion was better than Skyrim.
(Before the flame comes in; Skyrim was GOOD, just Oblivion was better.) |
