I'd like to remove the lunge (double-click) from this script, so it only slashes. Everything I try makes it not move at all, could I get some help? I'm not very good at all with scripting, so please bear with me and don't call me a noob as I learn. This is the default linked sword script, which is all I'll really be needing (except without the lunge).

Delete everything in the lunge function, but not the lunge function itself. So you are left with:
function lunge() end |

| Doesn't work. Now you don't move at all when you click - this seems to happen whenever I touch the lunge function. |

| Delete all the weird letters and characters at the top of the script too. |

That worked, thank you!
So why did the stuff at the top mess up the rest of the script? |

| The stuff at the top is what Roblox use to identify a script of theirs as being a linked script. |

| Hence the name 'LinkedSword' for the ROBLOX sword? |

| So why was the script messed up because of that? Does it do something if the script is tampered with? |

| And what does it mean to be "Linked?" |

| Roblox create scripts to link to their weapons and gear and etc. |
