| I'm developing a fairly large game, and it needs Anti-Hack Scripts to stop Hackers, the problem is that I don't know how these work at all, to reach out to a program outside of Roblox seems impossible, but I don't see another way to do it. |

| Most hacks just change Properties and stuff. You can use a script that checks if a property is changed NOT by your game. That's my idea. I never actually made an anti-hack script, but this is what I picture one to be like. |

| Depends. What do you want to prevent from happening, specifically? |

| Lol, chatting a script isn't a CoreScript. You can't even 'chat' a script unless you've already exploited the game in some way, in which case you could just directly edit the game contents rather than enabling yourself to script in the chat bar. |

| Really, most of the "hacks" in a game are just using a cheat engine to change the properties of things. Certain admin commands will interfere with that too, for example kohl's admin commands lets you create a script. Tagging something whenever you would change a property and killing things if the tag isn't there will help most hacks. |

If you're trying to make one, I would just have a table of usual things inside of a script and put gsub(msg, ...) on the stuff that's in the table. My table has usual things like: Instance.new game.Workspace game.Players ... GetService Banned = Banned=
Stuff like that, the usual stuff which people exploit with. |

Hey, so I have a game for my group, and yesterday we were playing on it and this random guy named poision___ (I couldn't get the exact name) came on the server for a few minutes and as he left, the screen was being spammed with three messages: "Roblox Will Die" "Mathew333 is a noob" and "This is the end". Is this some kinda hack? I know for a fact that poision put it on by the way he was acting. But My game just started to get popular on my group, I don't wanna change it.
THE QUESTION IS: Is it too late to use an Anti-Hack Script, or does this hack sound familiar at all? |

| The hack shouldn't be on all of your servers, just the one where he did it. As long as that server is shut down temporarily, it should be gone. |

Well hacks just change the leaderboard locally. Well for hacks with Cheat engine. They have to update the game or something so the server thinks they have what the client thinks. That's why some tycoons don't have a donate tool maybe. |
