Remember the first time you played it? Not knowing anything, but amazed by the huge world you were in? Remember the excitement you had when you first found some iron ore, thinking it was incredibly rare? Remember walking endlessly, and being amazed when you found your first cave?

Minecraft is far too recent to be nostalgic IMO. My first day in Roblox, however...

Minecraft was good, when it was simple. Now they've added too much stuff. |

My first time playing Minecraft was fun. I danced with the cows in my Steve skin and watched the sun set with them. I died from a skeleton arrow. |

@tubby They never added too much stuff. Its just that we all know what it is now, and therefore, nostalgic feeling = gone. |

"Nostalgia" is applied to something people loved from their childhood (usually). Unless your childhood was two years ago, it's not a game worthy of nostalgia. Maybe in ten years when the game dies out, you can say "those were good times".
As for people saying it's too different now; just don't make the new stuff. It's not that hard, in fact, you have to go out of your way to make that stuff you hate so much. |

I guess my definition was wrong.
I still stand by the fact that it's too new and popular to be considered nostalgic. |

Well I get nostalgic when I think about when I played it for the first time.
It's not like it only came out last year. |

We would be better off without Minecraft.

| I remember that time too... Everything was so magical when first playing Minecraft. Now, even with something like MCNostalgia, going back to Alpha 1.2.4 or whenever I joined just still isnt the same |

I liked it back when it wasn't so popular. Even though I didn't play it; the reason why I mentioned it was because when I went to my friend's house. Much of the time he was just playing Minecraft. He told me he was going to quit, but he didn't. He's obsessed with it |
