I am primarily an English speaker, so I do not know for sure if that sentence is conjugated correctly.

I only know two German words. One starts with S and ends with G. The other starts with H and ends with l. |

| One day, like quite a while ago, I tried learning German and I gave up in two months or so. |

| I'm going to go take a German course sometime in the future. After I finish with Spanish. |

| Practise it on your own. I find language classes are always either too hard for you or too easy. There's no "just right" when it comes to learning a language as a course. I find studying by myself easier. |

Welt is a "das" word and that is why the conjunction "im" can be used. And the word "mochten" is a superverb. Otherwise known as modals. And as such it whips any other verb to the end of the sentence. So your sentence, I would like to learn German one day, wasn't correct. Here is the correct form.
"Ich mochte Deutsch eine Tage lernen."
It is worth noting that in the sentence "Deutsh" and "eine Tage" are interchangeable.
Sinii it is not "eines Tages" because the word "Tage" is a "die" catagory word. |

| Also I would like to mention you got the verb moechte wrong. You forgot the umlaut. Assuming you don't have those on your keyboards, you misspelled it as umlaut o is alternatively spelled as oe. |

And eines Tages is right in fact, Google search it. Many people use it and it means someday.
While Welt is a die verb, actually, not das. So you're wrong. |

| Sinii. Yeah, I did not have all my facts. And so I was wrong to correct you. No need to call me a smartass though. I thought I had it right but learned later today that I wasn't. I did not know about the umlaut being able to translate as "oe". |

| Yes. Germans do not use umlauts on their e's and i's. Just a, o, and u. |
