I made a good point on reddit:
"I'm pretty sure the U.S. is biased. We do have basic methods of preventing nuclear attack, but those methods have never been tested on nuclear missiles because as I'm sure we're all aware, nuclear war has never happened before.
North Korea's a small country, but they lead one of the largest armies in the world and they're a quite frightening personality cult. Even if we were to defeat North Korea, do you know how difficult it would be to try and help its citizens afterwards? They have grown up learning their entire lives that Americans are terrible people and many of them are willing to kill us.
Nuclear war is dangerous. It doesn't matter what country decides to initiate it. North Korea is very ignorant, but they're learning. If we're going to war with them, make it quick." |
