| It's just the main religion, I had a great reason on why they should take tat off the dollar once, but I forgot it by now. |

The United States will still make Atheists citizens. Even with the statement implanted on it. Hey, United States have the 1st amendment, so Atheists still would be considered citizens no matter what. Don't take the "in god we trust" too serious. |

the founding fathers wrote seperation of church and state into the constitution
and the one nation under god was added to the pledge of allegiance in the 1950s |

because irreligion was almost nonexistent when they wrote the constitution
and freedom of religion applies to any kind of belief regarding a higher power
we cant stay stuck in the 1770s |
